TOE TROY RECORD, SATURDAY MORNING, MAY 30, Will Be Bride In August Mr. and Mrs. Edward A. Meyer of 2 Ball Place, Watervliet, announce the engagement of their daughter, Eisie Carol, to William L. Coon, son of Mr.

and Mrs. W. L. Coon of Jefferson City, Mo. Miss Meyer graduated from Watervliet High School and is employed by the New York State Department of Public Works.

Her fiance attended the University of Missouri and served with the Navy during World War II. The wedding will take place August 15. Auxiliary Has Dinner The Women's Auxiliary of the Spejgletown Fire Company held their second annual dinner meeting at the Willow Tea House Monday evening. A report from the nominating eommittee was given by Mrs. Joseph Brown and the following officers were elected for the coming year: Mrs.

Harry Anderson, president; Mrs. Irving Butcher, vice- president; Mrs. Donald Gagnon, recording secretary; Mrs. Ernest Be- hernitz. corresponding secretary; Mrs.

Charles Holmes, treasurer, and Mrs. Stanley Fane, auditor. The out-going president, Paul Brown, presided at the business meeting and read a report on the second annual card party and ahow which was held at Dania Hall on May 2, The secretary, Mrs. Robert Hidley, gave a summary of the year's events and in the absence of the the auditor. Mrs.

William Siek. the auditor's report was read by the treasurer. Mrs. George Day. Mrs.

Brown was presented with a sterling silver candy dish' by Mrs. Mm Zelie Married Miss Sandra P. Zelie, granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John S.

Zelie of Troy, was married recently at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Pinehurst, N. to Robert F. Dunn of Southern Pines, N. C. Rev.

John A. Brown performed the ceremony and Mrs. James E. Harrington was matron of honor with Mrs. Clyde W.

Smith, sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Janet Smith as bridesmaids. Lucy Simpson was flower girl. Milard T. Dozier was- best man and Donald Scheipers, Hermann Grover, Clyde Smith and Clyde T. Dunn served as ushers.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Zelie of Pinehurst, N. attended the Hartridge School, Plainfield, N.

and Miss Chapman's School, Pinehurst. She is a graduate of National Cathedral School, Washington, and Sweet Briar College. Mr. Dunn attended Duke University and is with the Citizens Bank it Trust Co. of Southern Pines.

Mr. Corbut, graduate of the University of Massachusetts, is attending Boston University School Circle Plans Luncheon Plans for a covered dish luncheon to be held June 17 were made by the Friendly Circle of the Center Brunswick M.E. Church at their monthly meeting held at the home of Mrs. William Bode Monday evening. The luncheon will be held at 1 p.m.
