366-0116 Eagles Auxiliary Convention June 16th Through The 18th The 24th annual convention of the Ilinois Auxiliaries to the Fraternal Order of Eagles will be held June 16 through 18 at the Holiday Inn in Hillside, The convention will be hosted by Mrs. Lorraine Clancy, Madam State President 1971-72 and a member of the Forest Park Auxiliary and her committee which is headed by Past Grand Madam President Stella Moorehouse also of the Forest Park Auxiliary. Guest speakers at the convention's public opening at 1:30 P.M. on Friday will include Senator Howard Mohr, Mayor of Forest Park and member of the Forest Park Aerie; Worthy State President Axel. Fallman of Lawrenceville, Illinois and Past Grand Madam President, Lois Nelson of Fargo, North Dakota, Mrs.

Nelson will be attending the convention as a representative from the Grand Aerie and Auxiliary. At the opening Mrs. Clancy will present grants of $1,000 each to The Bell School for the Blind in Chicago and The Bonaparte. School for. Mentally Retarded Children in Wheaton.

The grants will be made on behalf of the organization's Jimmy 'Durante Crippled Children's Fund, A presentation will also be made to the LaRabida Children's Hospital and Research Center at the convention banquet. on Saturday evening. Mrs, Clancy chose La Rabida as ber State Project when she was elected to office last June, and auxiliary members throughout the state held activitied during the year to raise money for the donation. The total amount raised will be announced by Project chairman, Tillie Mudloff of the North Shore Auxilary. The convention will close on Sunday with the installation of the women elected to state offices for the ensuing year.
