Redmond and Margaret Delano Presented Mr. and Mrs. Roland L. Redmond entertained at a supper dance last night at their country residence on Berry Hill Road, near Syosset, for their debutante daughter, Miss Sylvie L. Redmond, and Miss Margaret Delano, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Lyman Delano, Miss Red mond's cousin. Dancing was held indoors and on the lawn. There were 200 present. Mr.

and Mrs. Herbert I. Pratt, who entertained President Roosevelt on their yacht Dodger in at the Yale-Harvard regatta, will sail on the Cunard liner Saturnia next Thursday. They will pass some time on the French and Italian Riviera and cruise among the islands of the Aegean Sea. They will return in August to Glen Cove.

They have had as guests at Welwyn their two sons-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. James Hunt of Boston, who are leaving soon for the Adiron- dacks, and Mr. and Mrs. David Wil- merding of Wayne, Pa Mr.

C. A. yesterday afternoon. The president, John Heim, presided. Plans were completed for the picnic to be held at Prospect Park on Saturday.

The program Included recitations by John McFarland and Mrs. Pauline Hotine. The rest of the afternoon was spent in singing and dancing, with Mrs. Sophie Thompson at the piano. The next meeting will be held on Monday, when the evening social also will take place.

Are Engaged to Be Married Announcement is made of the engagement of Miss Faith Hollins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Vanderbilt Hollins of Manhattan and Islip, to Arthur W. Little JrH son of Col. Arthur W.

Little and the late Mrs. Little 'Marguerite Lanier Winslow). Miss Hollins attended Miss Hewitt's School, studied for a year abroad and made her debut in 1932. She Is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Harris V. Hollins and of Mrs. Gustav Kobbe and the late Mr. Kobbe. Mr.

Little was graduated from the Fay School, Southborough, and St. Pauls School, Con cord. N. and later attended Princeton. He resides with his father and the present Mrs.

Little, the former Mrs. James Stewart Barney (Mary Alice VanNest), at 863 Lexington Manhattan. Mr. Little Jr. Is the grandson of the late Joseph J.

Little, who was a member of the 52d Congress and for many years president of the Board of Education of New York. On his mother's side Mr. Little Is a direct descendant of Martha Washington. He is the grandson of the late Edward Winslow and a descendant through direct lineage of Edward Winslow. who was the first Governor of Plymouth, Mass.

Mr. Little was married to Miss Helen Gage. This marriage was terminated by divorce in Reno in October, 1931. Mr. Little formerly lived at Santa Barbara, Cal.

He is well known in polo circles on the Coast and at the Meadow Brook Club, Westbury, where he resided last year. He is an ex-member of Squadron A. Mr. Leck strom sang compositions or Mrs. Sandburg. STEINHART MALTER Miss Sarah M. Malter, daughter of Mrs.

Samuel Malter of Brooklyn and the late Mr. Malter, was mar ried Sunday afternoon at the Waldorf-Astoria to Eugene Steinhart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Steinhart, also of Brooklyn. The bride was given away in mar riage by her brother, Harry Malter.

Miss Pauline Malter, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and her niece arid nephew, Barbara and San ford Malter, were flower girl and page boy. Mr. Steinhart, father of the bridegoom, acted as best man. The Rev. Dr.

Alexander Lyons offi ciated. Miss Malter Is a graduate of the Adelphl College in Brooklyn and a member of the Pi Alpha Tau Sorority. Mr. Steinhart is a graduate of New York University. Mr.

and Mrs. Steinhart will spend their wedding trip on a northern cruise and upon their return they will reside in Brooklyn. MRS. COHEN WILL SAIL Mrs. Celia Cohen of 901 Washington' Ave.

will leave Friday on the White Star liner Olympic for Europe. She will visit France, England and Poland and while Un Poland will spend some time with, her mother in Vilna. She will return in September. Mrs. Svend Hansen and her daughter, Miss Paula Hansen of Flushing and formerly of Brooklyn, will leave Saturday for Europe where they will spend the Summer traveling.

and Mrs. Elberon Douglas Smith of 90 8th was married to Herbert Bolster Johnson of 1125 Grand Concourse, yesterday, at 4 o'clock. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Virgil V. Johnson, father of the bridegroom, in the presence of the Immediate families.

Miss Mary Hope Smith was the bride's only attendant. Richard Adams Johnson, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bride wore a white mousse-line gown over white satin and carried pale pink roses. The attendant wore a blue embroidered organdy over blue taffeta and carried Joanna Hill roses. The home of the bride was profusely decorated with a variety of pink roses.

The bride is a graduate of Berkeley Institute and received her degree from Pembroke College in Brown University this June. Mr. Johnson Is a graduate of Brown University, class of is a member of Zeta Psi fratenity, and is now studying at Cornell Medical College. Miss Elizabeth Arcularius Wed to C. Reid McMaster Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Arcularius of 32 St.

Paul's Place announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Elizabeth Arcularius, to C. Reid McMaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Riley J. McMaster of Tampa, on June 15.

Miss Arcularius is a graduate of Northfield Seminary and has been teaching in St. Petersburg, Fla. After a motor trip Mr. and Mrs. McMaster will make their home in St.

Petersburg. Mr. and Mrs. Mullins Dinner Hosts at Graduation Party Mr. and Mrs.

Nicholas A. Mullins entertained yesterday at a dinner party held at the Knights of Co lumbus, 1 Prospect Park West, in celebration of the graduation of their daughter, Miss Betty Mullins, from P. S. 193. Miss Mullins will enter Saint Angela Hall in Sep tember.

Long Island Society Miss Virginia Wintnill Presented to Society at Dinner-Dance at Locost Valley Miss Virginia Winmill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Campbell Winmill of Manhattan, Warrenton, and Mill Neck, was' presented to society at a dinner dance given last night at the Creek Club, Locust Valley, by her parents. Miss Winmill, who received with her parents, wore a gown of white organdie, with green organdie ap plique, and carried orchids. Mrs.

Winmill's gown was pale blue lame. and she wore a corsage of orchids. Roses and baby breath decorated the tables. The guests included the young friends of the debutante. Mrs.
