2HH) 5 Am Wool 2(H) 1B Am Wool 800 26 Am Zinc 200 2(H) By P. M. BUNGART After an uncertain start prices workei slowly to higher levels to-day, many regaining the ground lost in yesterday's late reaction. Trading was quite dull but seemed to pick up a bijy in the last hour when prices firmed up. News was mixed, but there was a sufficiency of constructive developments in the form of increased industrial activity to make for some improvement in sentiment.

Rubber shares were extremely inactive, with indications that the prices were being cut. Coppers wers dull and little changed, but some demand appeared, which was based on beliefe that the figures on production and consumption in December would be constructive and show a decline in Inventory of the metal.

Motors were quite firm, with Nash among those to sho wa fair 2 Int Paper 53 214 28 6118 2513 5774 1574 313 35 15 3814 477-4 2334 173, 774 30 6234 214 28 5014 25'a 5714 1574 314 35 15 3774 47 2274 1714 77-4 30 314- 74 35 1.4 500 Anaconda 2. 31 IK) 78 11574 64 92 44 18 86 68 45 62 77 40 29 43 15 32'4 2'4 20 -114 32 26 1 3014 16'4 Vt 25 19 24 Anac'dWC 1.. 200 74 AnchorCp 2.40 1100 284 26 31'4 26 30 16 4 69 Mt 2'4 4'-i 47 4 13 Archer Dan 2. 20 44 '4 79 81 63 51 29 4 82 8 4 13 46 50 200 21 Int Pap pf 7.. 10 Int Prt 31 Int Salt 3....
