KENOSHA NEWS LOCAL NEWS Sunday, March 10, 1996 DEATHS Increasing enrollments push Martin B. Antaramian sin State Association, Floyd F. Stapleton Martin B. Antaramian, 83, 6565 Pershing Boulevard, the father of Mayor John Antaramian, died Friday (March 8, 1996) at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center. Born May 21, 1912 in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Bedros and Anna (Mardoian) Antaramian.

On April 18, 1946, he married Noreen Semerdjian in Crown Point, Ind. He attended Kenosha schools, the University of Nancy, Nancy, France, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the UW Law School, where he graduated in 1950. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Army 14th Armored Division. In the rank of sargeant he and three other soldiers captured 85 German soldiers earning him a bronze star.

With his brother, Richard, he founded the law firm of Antaramian and Antaramian. After 43 years in law practice, he retired in 1993 from the firm, which had become Antaramian and Easton. He was the recipient of the DeMolay Legion of Honor. Taking special joy in his family, he spent every Sunday with his children and grandchildren. He held membership i in St.

Andrew's Episcopal Church, Kenosha Lodge 343, Kenosha Scottish Rite Club, Kenosha Shrine Club, York Rite Bodies, Kenosha Commandry 30 Knights Templar, Kenosha Chapter 3 Royal Arch Masons, Kenosha Council 33, and Royal and Select Masters. He was past governor of Kenosha York Rite College 38, a member of Valley of Milwaukee Scottish Rite, Tripoli Shrine, Kenosha Propeller Club, Kenosha Bar Association, Wiscon- American Bar Association, Trial Lawyers of America, 14th Armored Division, American Legion, Junker-Ball Post of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Kenosha Rotary Club and Loyal Order of Moose. Survivors include his wife, two sons, Kenneth and John, both of Kenosha; two daughters, Anna McGuire and Kathy Easton; both of Kenosha; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard and Neshan Antaramian and one sister, Nazle Ermoian. Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dolores E. Hervat Dolores E. Hervat, 75, 1902 29th died Friday (March 8, 1996) at St. Catherine's Hospital. Born April 26, 1920 in Kenosha and was immediately adopted by John and Elizabeth (Heiden) Bruns.

She attended St. George Elementary School and Mary D. BradHervat ford High School. After marrying Joseph L. Hervat in 1940, she was a homemaker until 1950, when she was employed by American Motors Corp.

She retired in 1977. She was a member of United Auto Workers Local 72, the Slovain Society and the Birthday Club. She was involved with the Kenosha Humane Society and the Kenosha Animal Shelter. Survivors are four sons, Joel Hervat, Madison, and Dean, John and James Hervat, all of Kenosha; two daughters, Laurel Mellone, Brookfield; and Janet Riley, Kenosha; 14 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Hansen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Floyd F. Stapleton, 87, formerly of Kenosha, late of Deltona, died Friday (March 8, 1996) in DeBary Manor, DeBary, Fla. The son of Stapleton School and the late Dr. Edward and Elizabeth (Garvey) he was born April 8, 1908 in West Allis.

He attended St. Thomas Grade School, Lincoln Junior High Kenosha School. On Sept. 2, 1933 he married Doris Reith St. James Church, Kenosha.

He had been employed at S.S. White Dental Mfg. and later at D.L. Saslow Dental both in Chicago. He was a member of Lady of Lakes Catholic Church, Deltona, and.

a square- and round-dancing club. He is survived by his wife, Deltona; two sons, Robert Ann Arbor, and Thomas Saline, a daughter, Karen L. Nicla, Kenosha; two brothers, Eugene, Waukesha, and Dr. Clement, Lac du Flambeau; a sister, Julia E. Von Rueden, Eagle, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding him in death were three sisters, Caroline Stapleton, Mary Ruth Reynolds and Catherine Tillmans, and a brother, Joseph. Proko Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Those are 24 students per teacher in elementary schools, 17.7 to one in the junior highs and 19.25 to one in the senior highs.
