I SUNDAY TIMES, CUMBERLAND, SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1951 SEVENTEEN CGC Alumnae Dinner To Be Held Tomorrow A dinner meeting will be held by Catholic Girls Central High School Alumnae tomorrow night at the Eks Club, The Very Rev. J. Lawrence Kilkenny, pastor of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, will give the blessing and benediction. Mrs.

James Scarpelli will be toastmaster. Josephine Coleman will preside and report on the International! Pederation of Catholic Alumnae. Mrs. Frank L. Werner is chairman for the party.

Guests will be received. by Miss Shells Downey, Miss Rosemary Daugherty and Miss Patricia Malloy, Others on the committees are Miss Downey and Miss Mary Jo decorations; Mrs. Arthur McDade, Mrs. G. William 6weitzer, Mrs.

Eugene Howell, Mrs. Ann Everline, Mrs. A. W. Bergeron, Miss Margaret Burkey, Miss Mary Louise Barrett.

James R. Edwards Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Edwards were united in marriage in a double ring ceremony in the early fall at Charlestown, W. Va.

The bride was Miss Geraldine Van Meter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman R. VanMeter, Potomac Park. Mr.

Edwards is the son of George Edwards, Philadelphia, and the late Mrs. Edwards, The couple is residing at Charlestown. YBW Group Have Program, Birthday Party Group 5, Young Business Group, of Central Methodist Church met at the home of Mrs. Vernon Northcraft, 224 Glenn Street, Wednesday evening. Mrs.

John Pleiffer the devotional and presided at the short business meeting. Miss Ellen Newnam gave the program, entitled "Women in the Business World." The meeting was in the form of la "Birthday Party" with each mem-! 'ber giving a penny for each year of her age. Canned goods were collected for the MYF to use in their Booth Festival display for the Strawbridge Methodist Home for Boys. Perry Shyrock on November 24 at Central Methodist Church. The hostess was assisted in serving by Mrs. Blake Buckel and refreshments were in keeping with the "Birthday" theme. Miss Betty Ann Jones was guest and members present were Mrs. David Paugh, Mrs.

Randy Skidmore, Miss Betty Jean Kight, Miss Campbell, Miss Newnam, and Mrs. Clinton Cage. The December meeting will be held at the home of Miss Betty Jean Kight, 311 Decatur Street, in the form of 8 Christmas jingle I party on December 11. OPEN MONDAYS 'til 9 P. M.

and Mrs. Hutzell are residing in Amherst, Ohio, while Mr. and Mrs. Whitehead reside in Midlothian. Plans were made for Christmas party to be held the first Saturday in December at the fire hall. Each member is to bring an original Christmas card to be displayed.
