findings to the legislature following the mid-term recess today announced a meeting of the committee in Nashville next Thursday to organize and map out a program of investigation and their itinerary This committee is headed by Senator Bramley It was authorized to investigate the progress and needs of the state highway system and to de- termine what if any additional funds will be required from the state treasury to supplement current revenues to carry out the program of $10000-000 mapped out for road construction a year until the system is completed County Problem The county highway building problem also wily be tackled by the committees as will the plan for state absorption of county bonds issued for participation in the state and federal highway system Governor plan is for the state to retire the $15000000 worth of county bonds already issued and about $8000000 to $10000000 expected to he issued between now and January 1 1929: Upon that date the state would begin to refund the county money prinicpal and interest the payments extending over a period of twenty years A report on this plan as well as on other proposals before the legislature asking immediate refund "by the
