Wisconsin-Parkside's forum on nuclear power Wednesday night that public pressure will not have as strong an effect on slowing construction of nuclear power plants as Wall Street will have Charles Cicchetti the chairman and six other panel members discussed their opinions and facts and answered several audience questions some eliciting applause concerning Three Mile Island and other aspects of nuclear power "Even if we put aside the moral and safety aspects of nuclear power Beer license turned down hy Randan BASSETT After hearing protests from town tavern keepers the Randall Town Board His relationship with the March over a period of 28 years reflected his desire to instill a sense of charity and social responsibility in the next generation He was instrumental in raising the funds for the construction of St Joseph High School and was a former advisor of St Catherine's Hospital Mr Schulte also identified with the Salvation Army the Kenosha Youth Foundation the Knights of Columbus the United Way the Eagles the Elks Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts He was a director of the Kenosha County Fair His business interests included the First National Bank of which he was a director and the Downtown Kenosha Association He was bom in Kenosha the fifth of seven children of the late Louis Schulte and Louise Meyer Schulte He attended Frank School St George School McKinley Junior High School and Bradford High School 't On August 3 1927 he married Mildred Schrader at St George Church In Kenosha They are the parents of two children Eugene Schulte vice president of United Communications Corporation and the Willis Schulte 71 president of the Kenosha News Publishing Corporation and its circulation director for more than 55 years died Thursday night of a cancer-related disease Mr Schulte who was nationally recognized for his Innovative circulation concepts shaped the lives of more than 6500 Greater Kenosha youngsters over three generations He considered his work with young people his greatest achievement Mr Schulte also served as general manager of the News and president of United Communications Corporation Upholding company for the Kenosha News the Attleboro Mass Sun-Chronicle the Zion-Benton News and Bargaineer and KEYC-TV Mankato Jinn WILLIS I xi SCHULTE.
