primary election in Kenosha County winning in every single district ln the county Zapf 33 beat Landa 32 by 13707 to 5882 votes Zapf faces no challenger in the November election and can expect to take over his new duties Jan 2 for the next two years in the $34000-a-year job Zapf carried each of the 56 districts but it was not the first time it had been done In 1972 Ruth Radatz running for her first term as county treasurer a position she still holds emerged first in a three-way battle in the Democratic primary She eliminated then-incumbent Walter Anderson He had hekl the job for 24 years a longer time than anyone else in Kenosha County history had held an elective county post Radatz won by a nearly two-to-one margin carrying every district The district race has been described as one of with 4289 to 4093 Dorff 50 carried 13 of the 19 wards including two of the three wards in Pleasant Prairie The district encompasses most of the south side and all of the Town of Pleasant Prairie
