Mary Petril. yak, Rear 17 Market Tresckow, who died Tuesday at State General Hospital, was held this morning from the Jupina Funeral Home, McAdoo. The Rev. Bohdan Lewcyky cele-brated the requiem high mass in St. Mary's U.

C. Church, McAdoo. He was assisted by the Rev. Roman Hanas of St. Nicholas U.

C. Church, Mahanoy City. Both priests gave the blessing at the grave in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were John and Henry Mitchell, Edward Campbell, Everett Zima, Vincent Sinnott and Dominic Bianco. George B.

Hudock, Box 47, Po cono. former Freeland business man who died Thursday at State General Hospital, was buried this mornine from the Petrilli Funeral Home. Freeland. in charge of Frank H. Bonin and son, funeral directors.

The Rev. John Walsh, Pocono, celebrated the solemn high mass of requiem in St. John's R. Church, Freeland. The Rev.

m- ward Gallagher, Conyngham, was deacon and the Rev. Michael Frohman, sub-deacon. Reverends Walsh and Gallagher gave the blessing at the grave in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were John Mattis, John Wargo, Michael Karlick, John Danek, George Palir and Patrick Gallagher. The funeral of Everitt S.

Mc- Henry, 70 S. Wyoming former Hazleton High School teacher, who died Wednesday, was held this morning from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home. The Rev. G. B.

Steeves conducted the services. Interment was in Mc- Henry Cemetery, Orangeville. Pallbearers were Joseph W. Dins- more, Robert Stark, William Hill, Robert Hoegg, Robert Rosenstock and James Schellhamer. Mrs.

Edward W. Derr, 455 Alvin Freeland, who died Tuesday at State General Hospital, was buried this morning from the Mc-Nulty Funeral Home, Freeland. The Rev. Stanley Gorski celebrated the requiem high mass in St. Casimir's Church, Freeland, and gave the blessing at the grave in the parish cemetery.

Pallbearers were Edward Za-vasky, John Zimiejko, Joseph Meier, Michael Roth, Robert Houseknecht and Glen Sensenbach. The funeral of Miss Margaret A. Gillespie, 40 W. Broad who died Wednesday at St. Joseph Hospital, was held this morning from the Turnbach Funeral Home.

9. She would have observed her 80th birthday anniversary tomorrow. She was born in Hobbie, daugh ter of the late John P. and Delia (Eroh) Whltebread, and resided there her entire life. She was proprietor of the Hoch Meat Market, Hobbie, which has been in operation the past 58 years She operated the market alone since her husband, Alvin, died in 1949.

She was the last surviving mem ber of her immediate family. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Hobbie; the Adult Sunday School Class, and the Hobbie Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1.

Surviving are 1 these children: Mrs. Emerson (Beatrice) Moyer, Hobbie; Morris, Stairville; and Clyde, Mrs. Otto (Thelma) Good, and Mrs. Claude (Jetha) White- bread, all of Hobbie; by 14 grandchildren, and by seven great-grandchildren. Funeral will be 11 a.m.

Monday from St. James Church, the Rev. Joseph Shuster, officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Hobbie. Friends may call at Cragle Funeral Home, Hobbie, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

2 FOR 1 r. Hancock McAdoo, died today ait her home at 10:30 a. m. after an illness of three years. Born in Poland, she resided in McAdoo for the past 53 years.

She was a member of, St. Kune gunda's Church, McAdoo. Her husband, John, preceded her in death in 1939. Surviving are the following children: Edward, Danville; Andrew, Silverbrook; and Mrs. John (Frances) Mus'hock, McAdoo.

Five grandchildren also survive. The funeral arrangements are incomplete. Viewing will be tomorrow from 7 to 10 p. m. at the Ani-losky Funeral Home, McAdoo.

JOHN YESENSKY John Yesensky, 79, of 42 Baxter Binghamton, N. a native of Hollywood, RD 1, Hazleton, died this morning at his home. He was a frequent visitor at the home of his cousins, Mr. and Mrs. John Popyak, Hollywood, and moved from that community a number of years ago.

His wife preceded him in death several years ago. Other cousins in this area and several children are listed as sur vivors. The funeral will be held Tuesday at Binghamton, N. Y. Compressor Burns At Wenner Garage The Conyngham Fire Company was called out last night at 11 o'clock to extinguish a small fire at Wenner's Garage, 297 Main Conyngham.

Art Wenner, owner of the garage, said a motor that operates an air compressor had caught on fire and was destroyed. Wenner said that when he arrived on the scene, he turned off the main power supply and then put water on the fire, The fire company arrived shortly afterward and completed the job. Lists Parking Meter Schedule for Holidays Chief of Police Hugh Ferry announced today that the Christmas season parking meter schedule went into effect today. The police official advised that meters will be in operation from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Hunters or others who find bears in hibernation, particularly in the Wycoff Run watershed south of Sinnamohoning, Cameron County, should not disturb the bears, but merely report the information to the Wildlife Research Unit, 113 Ferguson Building, University Park, or to District Game Protector Norman Erickson, Emporium. DOROTHY SHIMKO Mrs. Dorothy Shimko, 186 Evans Duryea, mother of Michael Shimko, White Haven, died Thursday in Pittston Hospital. 23rd Tioga Manor Apartments, Philadelphia, formerly of this city, died at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, last evening. He had been ill since March. Fadio was born in Austria, the son of the late Michael and Anna Kovatch Fadio and came to, this country as a child, living in this city prior to moving to Philadelphia. He was employed last as a trainman for the Pennsylvania Railroad in Philadelphia, retiring several years ago. While a resident of this city he was a member of St.

Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and when residing in Philadelphia was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Camden, N.J. His father died Dec. 31, 1943 and his mother died Jan. 2, 1944.

They were buried the same day, Jan. 5, 1944. A sister, Mrs. Anna Vacula Solt, died in 1960 and a brother, Charles, died in 1967. Surviving are one sister, Bertha Fadio, Miami and two broth ers, George Fadio, Miami, and Andrew Fadio, Audubon, N.J.

The funeral will be held from the Burcin Home for Funerals, 305 E. Beech at 9 a.m. Tuesday, with requiem high mass in St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church at 9:30 o'clock and interment in St. Gabriel's Cemetery.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. DUANE "BUCKY" CALVELLO Duane "Bucky" Calvello of 600 McKinley died at 2:30 p. m. yesterday in the State General Hospital.

Born in Weston, he was a son of Anthony and Myrtle McGlynn Calvello. He was a member of Grace Bap tist Church. Surviving are his wife, the for mer Wilma Buck, his parents and the following children: Mrs. Glenn (Norma) Aveni, Clearfield; Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Zack, Zelien-oplet Mrs.

Michael (Sandra) Por- tonova, this city; Duane Jr. and David, both at home; and the following brothers and sister: Rocco and Clifford, both of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Ralph, Anthony and Mrs. Anthony C. (Evangeline) Zola, all of this city, and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the Joseph and Mary Fierro Funeral Home at 10 a.m.

Monday, with services in charge of the Rev. Orrin Christian, pastor of Grace Baptist Church. Interment will be in Mount Laurel Memorial Park. Friends may call tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

Sunday. MRS. HANNAH GRAVELL Mrs. Hannah Gravell, 439 W. Broad died at 4:45 p.m.

yesterday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital where she had been a patient the past three weeks. She was born in Wales, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth 'Davis and lived in West Pittston prior to taking up residence in this city in 1931. Mrs. Gravell was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church, member and former teacher of the Philathea Bible Class of that church.

She was past matron of Avoca Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, a member of Hazleton White Shrine No. 4, and was affiliated with Mayflower Chapter No. 107, OES. Her husband, John Gravell. a former foreman with the Lehigh Valley Coal died in 1944.

She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Irvin S. Meade, Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. David J. Jones.

King ston; and Mrs. Edison Berryman, Wilkes-Barre. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 p.m. Sunday from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev.

Erwin D. Bennett officiating. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the West Pittston Cemetery. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 n.m.

at Hazleton State General Hospital where she had been admitted earlier in the day. She was born in this city, daughter of the late George and Eliza beth Chin Edwards and lived here all her life. She was a member of St. John's P.M. Church.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Lawrence (Phyllis) Meyers, West Hazleton, and Mrs. James (Beatrice) Hall, this city; three grandchildren: John Krell, Harris-burg; William Meyers, Fayson Lakes, N.J.; and Miss Lois Hall, this city; and five great grandchildren. A daughter, Mrs. Henry Krell, died July 14, 1966, and a sister, Mrs.

Mary Meikrantz, died Jan. 14, 1967. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Krapf and Hughes Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard E.

Owens officiating. Interment will be in Vine Street Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. MRS.

ANNA TOMANCHEK Mrs. Anna Tomanchek, 85, of 1465 E. Sixth Bethlehem, formerly of this city, died Friday night at St. Luke's Hospital, Beth lehem. Born in Czechoslovakia, she had resided in this city before location in Bethlehem.

The deceased was a member of St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church, Bethlehem former member of Ss. Peter and Paul's Lutheran Church, this city. A son, Technical Sergeant Carl Tomanchek, a member of the Marine Air Force, was killed in 1944 while serving in the Pacific Thea ter of Operations during World War Two. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John, and a daughter, Helen.

Surviving are seven children: Mrs. Andrew Balaz, Bethlehem; Mrs. Mildred Zakovic, John and Martin, Hellertown; Paul, Bethle hem; Joseph, Charlotte, N.C.; An drew, Detroit; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. in St.

John's Slovak Lu theran Church, Bethlehem. Inter ment will be in Ss. Peter Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, this city, with services in charge of Rev. John M. Brndjar.

Friends may call at the Temple- ton Funeral Home, Hellertown, on Monday evening. MISS LAURA J. CABEY Miss Laura June Cabey, 18 W. First died today at 5 a.m. at the home of her sister, Mrs.

Jes sie Schietrumpf, this city, after an illness of five weeks. Born in Drums, she was the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Drasher) Cabey. She was a member of Emman uel's Church of Christ and the par ish's Dorcas Bible Class. Surviving are the following sis ters and brothers: Harold, Jeddo; Scfellan, Woodbury, N.J.; Mrs Jessie Schietrumpf, this city; Mrs Howard Cressman, Newark, N.J.; Mrs. Ray Lutz, Denton, Mrs.

Anna Spittle, Bridgeport, Mrs. Elizabeth Harkins, Mrs. John Goodwin, Mrs. Henry Drasher, and Mrs. William Holiday, all of Philadelphia.

Several nieces and nephews also survive. The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Grebey, Beltz and Gleim Funeral Home. Rev. John B.

ROSEANNA E. CROUSE Mrs. Roseanna E. Crouse of Ha zle Village died at 11:29 a.m. yes terday at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Jeanesville, she was a daughter of the late Enoch and Caroline Edwards Uren. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, White Shrine No. 4, Mayflower Chapter 107, Order of Eastern Star and Lady Jeremiah Rebekah Lodge 93, all of Hazleton. Her husband, Charles, died in 1965.

Surviving is a brother, Edward Uren, of Akron, Ohio. The funeral will be held from Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home, 229 W. Broad at 2 p.m. Monday with services in charge of the Rev. Henry F.

Fairman. Inter ment will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. MRS.

JOSEPH CONZOLA Mrs. Anna M. Conzola, 310 Hol lerith Entwell, N.Y., a for mer Hazleton resident, died at the Ideal Hospital, Binghamton, N.Y., this morning at 5:40 o'clock. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Falvo) DeBonis. She was educated in Wilkes Barre schools and graduated from Bloomsburg State Teachers Col lege.

She had taught in the Wilkes-, Barre School District for about fire years. She had resided in Hazleton for about 30 years. She was a member of Christ the King Church, Entwell. N.Y. She is survived by her husband, Edward; one son, Joseph, at home; and two brothers, Stephen DeBonis, Kingston, and Joseph, New Hyde Park, N.
