She was Mrs. Dolores Ganis, 531 Shawnee who had gone to see the physician for treatment of a cold. According to Luzerne County Coroner Dr.

John Gibbons and Deputy. Coroner George Strish, the woman took a coughing spell, collapsed and could not be revived. The body was removed for an autopsy at the Wyoming Valley Hospital, Wilkes-Barre. Hospital ST. JOSEPH HOSPITAL: Admissions Mrs.

Broad Street .32 doz jCity Native, Ex-Villanova Official, Dies TROY, N.Y. (AP) The Rev. Edward J. Ouinn. former execu tive vice president of Villanova University, died Wednesday in St.

Mary's Hospital here after a brief illness. He was 78. The Roman Catholic priest had been prior to St. Augustine's Rectory, Troy, since 1965. He was procurator and executive vice president of Villanova from 1951 until 1953.

After that, he served as pastor of churches in Chestnut Hill, and in Greenwich, N.Y. He re tired in 1961 and came to Troy. Father Quinir was a native of Hazleton, Pa. He leaves two sisters. Mrs.

Delia Kennedy of Jessup, and Mrs. Thomas Manley of Binghamton. A nephew, the Rev. Timothy Quinn, is dean of men at St. Bonaventure Univers ity.

SBS Ann (Ayn) Mussollne, 780 N. Locust who was killed in ah automobile accident Sunday night on Interstate 80, three miles west of White Haven, was buried this morning from the Joseph and Mary Fierro Funeral Home. The Rev. Francis Mussari was the celebrant of the solemn high mass of requiem in Our Lady of Grace Church. The Maurice Raymond was the deacon and the Rev.

Robert Olander, sub-deacon. Father Mussari gave the blessings at the funeral home and at the grave in Most Precious Blood Cemetery. Seated in the sanctuary were The Reverends Mark Mecca, Joseph Bucolo and Robert Barone. Pallbearers, all cousins of the deceased, were Theodore and Stephen Bartol, Salvador Cameron, Rocco Mussoline, Donald, Michael and Cosimo Mussoline, and Anthony Mussoline, Jr. The funeral of Harry R.

Eli, rear 568 Lincoln who died Monday, was held this morning from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home. The Rev. Allen H. Roth, pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, conducted the services. Interment was in the Vine Street Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John and David Marshall, Joseph Murphy, George and William Parry and Robert Kresge. Andrew S. Grega, House No. 6, Back Jeddo, who died Monday at St. Joseph Hospital, was buried this morning from the McNulty Funeral Home, Freeland.

The Rev. Michael Frohman celebrated the requiem high mass in St. John's R.C. Church, Freeland. Brother Joseph Connor and the Rev.

George Wilson of Woodstock College, Woodstock, were seated in the sanctuary. The Rev. Wilson gave the blessing at the grave in St. Mary's B.C. Cemetery, Freeland.

Pallbearers were Edward Kluck, George Rock, Paul una, Nicholas Goida and Joseph Zoshak, all coworkers of the deceased at Foster-Wheeler Mountaintop, and George Ambrose. V- The funeral of Mrs. Mary (Ball) Stempko 401 E. Blaine Mc- Adoo, who died Monday, was held this morning from the family resiv dence. The Rev.

Edward S. Musial, a brother of the deceased, celebrated the solemn high mass of requiem in St. Kunegunda's Church, McAdoo. The Rev. Leo S.

Stajkowski was the deacon and the Rev. Stan islaus T. Gorak was the sub-deacon and gave the blessing at the grave in the parish cemetery. Seated in the sanctuary were the Rev. Joseph B.

Rapczynski, the Rev. John M. Smigielski and the Rev. George J. Boyle.

Four Area Health Centers Next Week The Pennsylvania Deoartment of Health will conduct four area health centers next week and a tuberculosis clinic. The health centers will be held: Monday. 9:30 a.m. at the Freeland Borough Building; Wednesday, 9 a.m., Black Creek Township Fire-house, Fern Glen; Thursday, 9:30 a.m., White Haven Boroueh Build ing and 1 p.m.

He was born in Tresckow, a ion of the late James and Mary (Carr) Johnson, and lived most of his life in this city. He was a member of St. Gabriel's Church and the parish Holy Name Society and Altar and Rosary Society. His wife, the former Mary Agnes Duffy, died in 1954. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: William Mrs.

Winifred Ringlaben and James, all of Hazleton; and Mrs. Margaret Knoll, Albuquerque, N.M. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held at 10:15 a.m. Saturday from the Boyle Funeral Home.

A solemn high mass of requiem will be sung in St. Gab riel's Church at 10:45. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Friday. MARGARET A. GILLESPIE Margaret A. Gillespie, 40 W. Broad died last evening in St.

Joseph Hospital after a prolonged illness. She was employed as a supervisor by Bell Telephone Co. until she retired in 1962. She had been a patient in the hospital for the past seven weeks. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of Patrick J.

and the late Rose (Coyle) Gillespie. She was graduated from St. Gabriel's High School in 1948. She was a member of St. Gabriel's Church and of Our Lady of the Bell Society.

Surviving are her father and three sisters: Mrs. Vincent (Mary) Evans, R.N., Hazleton; Mrs. El-wood (Bridgetta) Fagan, Arlington, and Mrs. Raymond (Rose) Zelenak, Hazleton. Also surviving are eight nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held 9 a.m. Saturday from th Turnbach Funer al Home. Solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated in St. Gabriel's Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the parish cemetry.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow. MRS. MAE B.

FINE Mrs. Mae B. Fine, 46, of Main Road R. D. 3, Mountaintop, was pronounced dead on admission to Mercy Hospital, at 9 o'clock last night.

She had been in ill health since May. Mrs. Fine was born at Alberts Corners, October 4, 1921, a daugh ter of the late John and Mary Smith Hildebrand. She resided in the Mountaintop area all of her life. She was employed by the Peer less Sportswear of Wilkes Barre, the past 15 years.

Mrs. Fine was a member of Emmanuel's Lutheran Church, Dor- ranee. Her husband, William died July 15, 1963. Surviving is a son, John at home; brothers, Claude, Sugarloaf, R. Lloyd, Hazleton; Burton, White Haven; Steuart, of Blyth- burne, and a sister, Mrs.

Aaron Hess, of Alberts. Funeral services in the Yeager Funeral Home. Mountaintop. Satur day at 2 p. with Rev.

William B. Fryer, pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Alberts, officiating. Interment will be in Dorrance Cemetery. Viewing Friday 2 to 4 and 7 9 p.

m. MRS. HARRY MINICK Mrs. Harry Minick, St. Petersburg, died October 7 in that city.

The former Alverna McHose, she was a daughter of the late Edwin and Catherine Pfancook McHose, this city. Surviving are her husband, two children, several grandchildren, uncles and aunts, August Pfancook and Mrs. Edith Heiselberg, Weatherly; Mrs. Bertha Thomas, Mrs. Margaret Lonzer and Albert McHose, this city; and a number of cousins in this area.

Interment took place in Mem orial Park Cemetery, St. Peters burg. Unico Yule Party Sat. The annual Unico Quo of Hazleton Christmas party will be held Saturday at Stan Genetti's Pennsylvania Room, co-chairman Rev. Francis Mussari and V.

James Capparell announced. Cocktails will be served from 8 to 9 p.m. and a smorgasbord dinner will follow. Reservations can be made by contacting the co-chairmen. Other members of the committee are Frank D'Andrea, Michael Po-tence, Ben Smar and Rocco Fes-cina.

at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. He had been ill several weeks. He was considered an authority on compensation in Pennsylvania, having processed thousands of cases in his 20 years with the Tri-Dis-trict Compensation Dept. of the UMWA in Hazleton. A prominent sports figure, he had been an outstanding basketball player in the Black Diamond League with Mahanoy City High School, from where he was graduated in 1937.

He was born in Mahanoy City, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph (Yankus) Gabuzda, and was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Mahanoy City.

He had been employed in the Social Security office in Baltimore, after high school. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and after discharge was employed at the Union National Bank in Mahanoy City. He is survived by his wife, the former Natalie Kershetsky: a daughter, Monica, a junior at Marywood College, Scranton, and a son, Joseph, a sophomore at Marian Catholic High School. His father-in-law, Joseph Kershetsky, is a former president of District 9, UMWA and a present member of the UMWA international executive board.

The funeral will be held from the residence Monday at 9 a.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 in St. Mary's K.u. uiurcn and interment will be in the parish cemetery. Viewing will be from Saturday at 4 p.m.

Hudock, 92, retired Freeland businessman who resided with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Styduhar, Box 47, Pocono, died at 2:45 a. m. today at the State General Hospital where he had been a patient the past month.

Born in Austria, a son of the late John and Anna (Olenik) Hudock, he located in Freeland in 1890. Prior to his retirement 20 years ago, he operated a bottling works and real estate business on the North Side. The deceased was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church, Pocono. His wife, the former Mary Takac, died in 1915, He was also preceded in death by three children, George, Emma and John.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anton (Susan) Styduhar, Pocono, with whom he resided; two grandchildren, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Scalise and Mrs. Emil (Eleanor) Pollack, Freeland; three greatgrandchildren, Marietta and Donald Scalise, Jr. and Michael Pollack; and two nephews, John Hudock, Detroit, and Dr.

George B. Hudock, Miami, Fla. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a. m. from the Petrili Funeral Home, Centre Freeland, in charge of Frank H.

Bonin and Son funeral directors. Solemn high mass of requiem will be celebrated at 930 in St. John's R. C. Church, Freeland.

Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call this evening from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. AMBULANCE CALLS The Hazleton Community Ambu lance was on call in Lebanon and the West Hazleton vehicle was on call in Sybertsville at press time today. Details of these calls were not available.

Hazleton Community Ambulance yesterday transported Charles Hinder, 592 N. Locust to State General Hospital. HIT-RUN VICTIM OUT Bernard Poshkus, 829 W. Fourth who was struck by a hit-and-run vehicle at Fourth and Lincoln streets at 7:35 p.m. Saturday, was discharged yesterday from State General Hospital.

Poshkus sustained abrasions of the face and complained of pains in the chin and the ribs. REX PHONE 454-2421 OPEN FRIDAY NITE TIL 9 John Gabuzda Ex-Teacher Found Dead Everitt McHenry, 67, of 70 Wyoming a former Hazleton High School teacher, was found dead in his apartment at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. A brother-in-law, Harold Balbir nie, Bridgeton, N.J., had called city hall at 11:25 and asked police to check the apartment because he had not heard from McHenry for several days. Patrolmen Charles Petrilla and Joseph Veet went to the apartment and found McHenry dead. They then notified Deputy Coroner Louis C.

Fierro. Born in Hazleton, a son of the late George B. and Jennie (Everitt) McHenry, he had resided in this city most of his life. He was graduated in 1917 from Hazleton High School and in 1923 from Bucknell University. He taught at the Hazleton High School from March 1923 until June 1927.

His father died in 1945 and his mother in 1959. Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Har old (Helen) Balbirnie, Bridgeton, N.J. The funeral will be held from the Bachman and Rosenstock Funeral Home at a time to be announc ed. Interment will be in the McHenry Cemetery, Orangeville.
