H. Canfleld received a tele gram yesterday from W. T. Harris, United States commissioner of education, saying that he would address the State Teachers association at Topeka, Decem ber 27. Mr.

The south window is filled with plush dress goods, Henrietta cloth, silks, steel trimmings, lace, and everything very artistically arranged by Mr. Chas. D. Raber. The north window also dressed by Raber is full of children's cloaks and wraps and is a very beautiful affair.

Sole Agent Andrew Swanson appeared before Judge Benson yesterday and declared his intention of becoming a citizen of the United States. The court examined him and ordered the clerk to give him a certificate of citizenship.
