Miss Frances Tucker went up to Baldwin Friday. Miss Bertha Pardee has been visiting friends in Lawrence the past week. Lewis Georgie called on Will Pum-roy Sunday. Mrs. Kassinger and Charley went up to Baldwin Friday.

Mrs, C. A. Roe and Williauf wera Lawrence visiters Saturday. Mr. Moody has sold his place to Mr.

Ice. Mr. Moody has proved a good citizen' and will be greatly missed in the community. Mrs. George Fitz of Lawrence and her sister, Miss Dumars, of Sali.

Lake City and Miss Emma Fitz visited at the Holcomb home Wednesday. r. Allie of Marshall county visited his daughter, Mrs. Will Water-son a few days last week. Miss Myrtle Beard of Lawrence came out to attend the Vinland Fair and to visit her sister, Mrs.

McQueen. Will Pumroy and Mabel called at the Hemphill home Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. S.

M. Craig visited their daughter, Mrs. Shotvvell of High Pairie one day last week. Miss Goldie Love and Walter are visiting at the Will Winter's home. Mrs.

George Fitz and Miss Du-mars called at the Roe home Wednesday. 'Mrs. Kassinger called at the Pardee home Saturday. In spite of the summer's drouth the displays at the Vinland Fair were line and without a trace of dry weather. The Stony Point school closed for the Fair Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Eberheart, Mrs. Hemphill, Sam Hemphill, Luke Welch and Mrs. Herbert Fitz, all of Lawrence, came out for the Fair.
