The properties sold by Toledo Mining and Anthony G. Hatsis, president, to Hughes Tool were valuable and I still believe so, Hatsis said Thursday. Hatsis and the mining company were sued by Hughes Tool Co.

last week in U. S. District Court in Utah. Hughes alleges the defendants conspired to sell the company mining claims far in excess of the vrlue of the property and that they were located on worthless federal lands and lands not open to mining. The complaint by Hughes also alleges that employes and agts of Hughes were corrupted, bribed and illegally and improperly influenced by the defendants.

Hatsis said in a prepared staiement I categorically deny any such conduct by myself or by any of the agents or officers of Toledo.
