President Fred Haegele served as chairman for the meeting held at St. Peter's Episcopal Church parish house. Newly elected as directors were Mrs. Joseph Jamelli, Miss Ida Gilbert, and Miss Kitty Kahler. Directors who were re-elected were Miss Charlotte Koehler, John Gould, Mrs.

Adding lots of pleats, Gat-tinoni is concentrating on cotton in yellow, pale blue, white and grey. Simonetta wont divulge ideas or colors but candidly say, "a spring line is the evolution of a winter line." A second edition of her pure empire "Desiree" will probably carry the super-elevated bosom into heachwear. Silent on his collection, Schu-hcrth, never a treTid follower, hints at an entirely new line. "The woman, her form, her colors all question marks," says dramatic Emilio Federico, "but she will be a strange an! voluptuous figure," More informative, Fontana admits changing to a very narrow silhouette with unexpected fullness afforded by panels that soften the severity. Farma rose, a violet-pink, is the Fontana spring color.

To Suit All Tastes Mingolini-Guggenheim promise a collection "to suit all tastes," emphasizing three-piece outfits that transform readily from daytime to evening costumes. They like to trim with artificial flowers, favor flame red, white, green and grey. Carosa eases the studied elegance of her most recent presentation to make her offerings "more spirited and free for the summer." Designer Princess Giovanna Garac-ciolo says, "the infinite variety of light fabrics and colors inspires capricious design." Carosa will use ivory, pale yellow and beige, with red for touches on black and Navy.
