SMALLE, ARTIST, I IN I A Forty area priests were seated I in the sanctuary of the Church of the Assumption in Ansonia yesterday morning for the funeral Mass of Mrs. Rena V. Kane Bennett, widow of John J. Bennett, lawyer, and mother of the Rev. John J.

Bennett, pastor of St, Ann's church, Avon, and former assistant at St. Mary's in this city. Father Bennett celebrated the solemn requiem Mass and the' Most Rev. Henry J. archbishop' of Hartford, presided during the Mass and conducted the absolution prayers which followed.

Numerous religious and civic delegations attended the funeral including one from the State chaplain. Services for Anlhony V. La, mason-plasterer and ROWAYTON, March 26.
