BRIDGEPORT SUNDAY POST, Dewmber 19, 1971 MRS. ROGER TED SALTHOUSE Carol P. Flanagan Married to Student Roger T. Salthouse Miss Carol Patricia Flanagan, daughter of Mrs. Bernard J.

Flanagan, 477 Curtis avenue, Stratford, and the late Mr. Flanagan married Friday evening to Roger Ted Salthouse. son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Salthouse, 331 Riverdale drive, Stratford.

The candlelight ceremony at 5:30 p.m. in Our Lady of Peace'church, Stratford was solemnized by the Rev. William O'Cpnnell of St. Joseph church, Shelton. Carl W.

Hermes, Jr. presented his niece in marriage. Her gown of white velvet was fashioned with a high neckline of Alencon lace, an Empire bodice marked with lace, Juliet sleeves similarly accented and an A-line skirt. She wore a full length illusion veil trimmed with Alencon lace and she carried an old fashioned bouquet of red roses and baby's breath. Miss Mary Diana Flanagan was her sister's maid of honor and'another sister.

Miss Sheila Agnes Flanagan and Miss Donna Lyn White were her bridesmaids. Lisa Marie Flanagan, a younger sister, served as junior bridesmaid. Roy Salthouse was best man for his brother and the bride's brother Michael Flanagan, Russell Ward and Michael Listorli ushered. A reception followed at the Raven inn, Stratford. The couple will make their home in Shellon.

Mrs. Salthouse, an alumna of Stratford high school, attended the Ringlirg School of Art in Sarasola, and was graduated from the Grace Downs Airline school. She is with the Southern Connecticut Gas company. The bridegroom, a graduate of Stratford high school, is an Army veteran and served one year in Vietnam. He is a student at the New England Institute of Technology.

Mrs. Johnson Married 25 Years Honored at Party Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson of Cedarhurst road, Sandy Hook, were recently honored on their 25th wedding anniversary at a surprise party given by their daughters, Miss Pamela Johnson and Mrs. Albert Landry and their son-in-law, 'Mr.

Landry in the Landry home, 16 Ford street, Ansonia. The couple were married Dec. 21, 1946 in Newfield Methodist church. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs.

Silder, 3 High Ridge road, Monroe to Allan Michael Keaney, son of Mrs. Allan M. Keaney, of Lynn, Mass, and the late Mr. Keaney. A wedding is planned for next June.

A graduate of Lauralton Hall, Milford, Miss Silder is a senior majoring in English at the College of Mount St. Vincent, Ri- vcrdale, New York. Mr. Keaney, a graduate of St. Mary's high school, Lynn, received a BA in history from Providence college.

He served two years as lieutenant in the U.S. Army and is now employed by the U. S. Government as a special agent for the Depart. ment of Justice.

Karen Anne Nolle Married Last Night To Law Student At a candlelight ceremony in the Fairfield-Grace United Methodist church, last evening-, Miss Karen Ann Nolle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Donald Nolle, 96 Red Oak road, Greenfield Hill, Fairfield, was married to Wallace Eugene Shipp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Shipp of Washington, D.C.

The pastor, the Rev. James S. Hood, performed 7 o'clock service. Mr. Nolte gave his daughter in marriage.

He gown of silk-faced peau, shirred between bands of French lace, was designed with a French lace high neckline, Cardinal sleeves and a satin band encircling the waistline' and ending in a bow in back. She wore a cathedral veil of illusion arranged from a Camelot cap of lace and pearls and carried an old fashioned nosegay of white miniature carnations and sweetheart roses, accented with viojets. Miss Esther Makoul, a former college roommate, served as maid of honor and Miss Donna Shipp, sister of the bridegroom and Miss Louise Humphreys were the bridesmaids. Jon Clark attended Mr. Shipp as best man and the bride's brother, Roger Nolte and Lawrence Graham ushered.

After a reception in the Fellowship hall of the church; the couple left for Florida. They will live in Washington, D.C; The bride is a graduate of Roger Ludlowe high school and Cedar Crest college, Allentown. Pa. She is a teacher. Air.

Shipp, a law clerk for Ritz, Smith and Treanor, in Washington, D.C., is a student at Washington College of Law, American university and expects to be graduated next June. He is an alumnus of Ottawa university with a degree in political science. Miss Elsa Eimer Feted At 91st Birthday Party Miss Elsa Eimer of North avenue was honored last Sunday at a 91st birthday party in her home arranged by her companion, Miss Aino Vare. She has been a resident of Bridgeport for three years and before that time traveled extensively. Miss Eimer and her brother, Walter Eimer of New York city, are the surviving children of the late August Eimer of the Eimer and Amend Pharmacy and Scientific Concern in New York, where Thomas Edison's first electric bulb was made.

Isaac Lamon of Larchmont, N.Y. A graduate of the Dalton school, New York and Case Western university, Miss Cardozo is a second-year student at the University of Connecticut Law school. Dr. Lamon is an alumnus of Institute of Technology and the Hahnemann Medical college and hospital in Philadelphia. He is serving his internship in' pediatrics at the Flower and Fifth Avenue hospitals.

William S. Pitt, 3rd And Ina J. White Teacher, Engaged The engagement of Miss Ina Jayne White, 27 Fairfield avenue, Westport, to William Pilt, 3rd, son of Mr. and Mrs. Pitt, 21 Deerwood Westport, is announced by her parents, Mr.

The ceremony the First Presbyterian church, Greenwich was performed by the Rev. George Pera and was followed by a reception in the Mitlbrook club, Greenwich. The bride wore an Empire gown of white silk chiffon velvet and silk organza fashioned with ruffled collar and Juliet sleeves trimmed with venise lace. Her illusion veil edged in lace was fastened to a coronet and she carried an old fashioned bouquet of stephanotis and white roses. Miss Susan McElree was her sister's maid of honor and Miss Lynn Ann Kovaclk of Greenwich served as bridesmaid.

Douglas Bell of Fairfield was best man for Mr. Saudis and Wayne McElree, brother of the bride and Bruce Ives of Fairfield, ushered. Mrs. Rickel Married 50 Years Celebrate Today Mr. and Mrs. George V. Rickel, IMS Huntington turnpike, Trumbult, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary today in Cobbs Mill inn, Weston, with their children, Mrs.

Eugene Obermayer of Staten Island, N.Y., George Rickel, Jr. of Stamford and David B. Rickel of Medivay, Mass. The couple were married 18, 1921 in New Jersey and have been Trumbull residents for over 40 years. Mr.

Rickel recently retired from Parsons Brothers. The couple have 16 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They plan Europe this summer. A senior at Greens Farms academy, Miss Crabh is editor-in-chief of Excalibar, the school yearbook and a former president of the Community Service club. Olasov of Charleston, S.C. and the late Dr. Philip L. Staub of this city, was married to Richard C. Cohen, son of Mr.

and Mrs. Eugene Cohen, 2270 Park avenue, last evening at 7 o'clock in a candlelight ceremony in the Park Avenue temple by Rabbi Arnold Sher. The bride, escorted by her brother, Edward M. Staub, wore a gown of white silk organza appliqued with embroidered flowers and' lined with a blush pink accordion pleated chiffon slip. It was styled with a high neckline, short puffed sleeves gathered into ruffles, an Empire bodice and an A-line skirt ending in a chapel train.

Her illusion veil was arranged from a matching headdress and and she carried a cascade of orchids accented with stephanotis. Mrs. Edward Staub was matron of honor and Miss kathy Crowley of Fairfield was maid of honor. Carolyn Blumberg of West Hartford served as flower girl and the other senior attendants included the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Howard Nathman, Miss Tharon Sapp of Chapel Hill, N.C., Mrs.

Stephen Bluestein, Miss Eve Olasov and Miss Shelley Berlinsky, all of Charleston. Howard Nathman was best man and the groomsmen were the bride's brother, Edward Staub and Leonard Bernstein of Fairfield, Steven Green of Charleston and Howard Meyers of Hopkinsville, Ky. After a reception in the Temple, the couple left on a European honeymoon. They will live in Atlanta, where both are seniors at Emory university. The bride is the granddaughter of Mrs.

Philip Berlinsky of Charleston and the late Mr. Berlinsky and of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Staub of New York. She expects to be graduated in June and to attend graduate school for social work.

Mr. Cohen is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Goldman of Fairfield and the late Mr. and Mrs.

Jacob Cohen of New Rochelle, N.Y. He plans to at. tend law school following his I graduation in March. Mr. and Mrs.
