Marley, nominated this year as Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Love Story," portrays the LA police captain who poses Savalas' methods in cracking the drug syndicate. Meredeith, one of the theater's leading actor-directors, is seen as a hip metal sculptor and Dixon, who achieved critical acclaim in "Nothing But A Man" and nationwide popularity in television's "Hogan's Heroes," also stars as a henchman assigned to kill Stern.
