Government has asserted the right of control over industry agriculture and finance In each case It has asserted that lack of any centralized supervision over these vast fields has resulted in disaster 2 The beginnings of a redistribution of national income have been made by various devices These have been slow hesitant steps but it's still a cardinal New Deal principle that income must be spread
