Oic a. Historical Society Oklahoma City, Okla. Fully Equipped, Fire Truck Ordered By City of Warr Acres WEEKLY BIBLE VERSE Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord sus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. Cor. 1:3.

El Nora's Nook At times copy material fitting for a weekly column for all readers, becomes a problem, yes even to a talkative woman it can be something of a chore to pick what should be ing for the public, and tho we sometimes feel our materials not worthy, we find someone, somewhere, that likes our bit of effort. Being especially low for worthy wise material this first week in August, we look with lifted spirit at a neatly written copy By an Anonymous writer, that we feel fitting for the occasion. "Lord, Thou knowest better than I know myself that I am growing older, and will some day be old, "Keep me from getting talkative and particularly from the fatal habit of thinking I must say something on every subject and on every occasion. "Release me from craving to try, to straighten out everybody's affairs. "Make me thoughtful, but not moody; helpful, but not bossy.

With my vast store of wisdom, it seems a pity not to add it all--but Thou knowest, Lord, that I want a few friends at the end. "Keep my mind free from the recital of endless details- give me wings to get to the point. "Seal my lips on my aches and pains--they are increasing. and my love of rehearsing them is becoming sweeter as the years go by. "I ask grace enough to listen to the tales of others' pains.

Help me to endure them with patience. "Teach me the glorious lesson that occasionally it is possible that I may be mistaken. Help me to extract all possible fun out of life. There are so many funny things around us, and I don't want to miss any of them." I find each and every line of these words hit me in the face with a big smack, truthfully, do they hit you, too? find I could add a few lines of my own personal opinion, however, there is no need, for the writer has struck a high note for all who will read, admit, and above all abide. Need one say more?
