1Z-C The Register: Danville. Sunday, Sept 8, 1968 Luncheon Fetes Henrietta Carr, 1968 Debutante A luncheon honoring Miss Henrietta Carr 1968 Debutante was given Saturday, September 7, at the Danville Golf Club. Mrs. James Carter and Mrs. James Robertson were hostesses.

Summer flowers and ivy were used on the table. Miss Carr was presented with a gift from the hostessess. The debutantes included Miss Carr, Miss Sheryl Anderson, Miss Irene Broaddus, Miss Judy Brown, Miss Cathryn Calisch, Miss Nancy Fitzgerald, Miss Ruth Leonard, Miss Sarah Mills, Miss Carole Mitchelle, Miss Mary Sue Morgan, Miss Nancy Newlin, Miss Elizabeth Parsons, Miss Lockard Roach, Miss Nancy Williams, Miss Madge Wiseman, Miss Susan Wiseman, Miss Linda Yeatts. Also attending was Mrs. Charles Carr, mother of the honoree.

Troth Is Announced Of Miss Williams, Henry C. Hurt Jr. Mr. and Mrs. George Dandridge Williams of "Campbell Field," Rapidan, announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Nolting, to Henry Charles Hurt of Kennebunkport, Maine, son of Mr.

and Mrs; Henry Charles Hurt of Chatham. Miss Williams was graduated from St. Catherine's School and Sweet Briar College. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.

Langbourne M. Williams and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Peyton MGuire of Richmond. Mr.

Hurt attended St. Christopher's School and was graduated from the University of Mississippi. He is the grandson of Mrs. Robert Hurt of Lynchburg, and the late Mr. Hurt and of Mrs.

Robert Gaston Hallam of Dallas, Texas, and the late Mr. Hallam. The wedding is planned for October 5. Lady Astor Garden Club Meets Friday The Lady Astor Garden Club will hold its first business meeting the year Friday, Sept. 13, in the home of Mrs.

William H. Smith on Wilton Avenue. Hostesses for the meeting will be Mrs. Smith and Mrs. G.

Woodberry Hills Club Plans Dinner The Woodberry Hills Woman's Club will hold a dinneir and its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. at Happy's Pizza and Beef House on the Piney Forest Road. Each member may bring a guest who is a resident of Woodberry Hills, it was announced.

Graduate Nurses To Meet Tuesday The regular meeting District Six, Graduate Nurses Association, wi'll be held Tuesday night at 8 o'clock in the Forma E. Hoover auditorium, nurse's home, on West Main St. The board will meet at the same place at 7 Delaware, announce the engagement of their daughter. Deborah Ann, to Edwin LeBaron Bealer, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Edwin Alexander Bealer of Linden Place, Danville. Miss McClelland, a June graduate of Richmond Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, is now affilaited with the hospital's nursing staff. Mr. Bealer attends the University of Richmond and is employed by Thalhimer's in Richmond. A November wedding is planned.

Epiphany The regular monthly meeting of the Women of the Church will be held at 11 a.m., Sept. 9 in the parish house. James Callahan, a member of the faculty of Stratford College in the field of Religious Education, will talk on "Contemporary Christian Thought." The second circle will hold it's regular meeting at the parish house at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 9.
