Illinois Parole and Pardon Board prepared recommendations today on Nathan Leopold's fourth plea for release from Stateville Prison- Leopold is serving an 85-year sentence for his part in the thrill slaying of a teen-age Chicago boy in 1924 when he was 19. Friends and former college classmates of Leopold appeared before the board yesterday, The board took under advisement Leo pold's plea that it recommend to Oov. William G.
