For the past 15 years lie had been employed by the Standard Furniture Company and had served as assistant manager of the Troy store for the past two years. Eldred of Morgan Street, died Monday al Putnam Memorial Hospital after being hospitalized for several months. Mrs. Etdred was born in Bennington, Oct. 8, 1912, daughter of the late Edward and Mary Thayer Holden. She was a graduate from Bennington schools and the Brad- i College in Haverhill, Mass, and the Child's Education Foundation in New York She was a communicant of St.

Peter's Episcopal Church in Bennington and a member of the Bennington Program for Girls. She also assisted at the Bennington Museum Shop. She had recently conducted an International Student program in conjunction with Bennington College. Survivors beside her husband include a daughter, Mrs. Thayer Jolivctte and one son, a of Bennington; two brothers, Judge James S.

Holden of North Bennington and Robert T. Holden of Bennington; one i a MacLaren of Freeport, Tex. and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday from St.

James Ramsay; Employed As Power Firm Worker LATHAM James Alan Ramsay, 55, of 38 Bailey who was a Niagara Mowhawk employee, died Tuesday at Albany Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Ramsay was born in Albany, Ihe son of Florence Califano and Ihe late Frank A. Ramsay. He was a graduate of Albany High School, and attended Union College.

He had bran a lechnician at Ihe Niagara -Mowhawk steam plant in Glenmont for the past 32 years. He was a member of the 25 Year Club at Niagara Mowhawk. He was a veteran of World War II, having serv- ed in the U.S. Army. He was a communicant of St.

Matthew's Episcopal Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James Grass and Miss Mary Ramsay, both of Latham; one sister, Mrs. Colin Campbell of Danbury, Conn. He was married to the late Dorothy Coffey.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. from St. Matthew's Episcopal Church where the Requiem Service will be celebrated by Rev. Benjamin Nevilt. Interment will be in Most Holy Niskayuna Mrs.
