Proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the volunteer fire fighters.

Elected president of the newly-organized group was Mary Jenkins. Other officers are Glen Thompson, vice-president; Jay Jenkins, secretary-treasurer; Buck McCullough; wagon master; Lois Thomson, chaplain; Mrytle Burton, reporter; Helen Sparkman and Johnny Richards, historians; and Clyde Deckard, program. At the meeting 21 rigs were represented.

The recent meeting was held in the, home of the McCulloughs with Mrs. Jenkins, Maibel Mccullough and Mrs. Thomson as hostesses. v. Engagement Robert and Betty Taylor of Gran-bury announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Janice Lynn, to Richard Kirk Powell, the son of Dorene C.

Ber-nice Deeds, from the Indian Harbor Extension Homemakers, presented a program on homemade master mixes. Members found that by making-up large quantities of the master mix, we could make cookies, cof-fee cakes and pancakes quickly and inexpensively. For refreshments, cookies from the store package variety and some made from the master quick mix were samples. Members report all could tell the difference in taste. Master mixes are easy to carry along in premeasured quantities for camping and would make nice gifts.

Babysitting was provided by ine Loftin, Peggy Edwards, Mary Jo Turner and Jewel Cherry of the Tolar Extension Homemakers Club. Members voted to change their name to Lake Country Extension Homemakers.
