Clipper Smith, coach of the Boston Yanks, professional football team which has been training at Hershey this week. Sam Gill-man was in charge of the program.

Today marked the official opening of the ticket sale for the Kiwanis Club Horse Show which will be held October 18 to 23 in the State Farm Show Building. MIDDLETOWN Middletown High School's opening football game of the 1948 season will be played tomorrow night when the Blue Raiders, coached for the first time by Harold Hummel, will oppose Carlisle High at the latter team's gridiron.
