Preceded in his death by par- ents, George and Ethel; siblings Dale Gough, Ivan Gough, Reva Olson, and Mariam Roe. Survived by his lov- ing wife of 62 years Alice; sister Dolly Onsager; children Michael Gough (Cathy), David Gough (Tracy), Christine Seifert (Robert), Lynette Leenay (Dave), Dale Gough (Cheryl); 11 grandchildren and 7 great grand- children. Wayne was born on August 30, 1932 in Salt Ste.

Marie, Michigan. He was a growing up in Upper Michigan until he moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota where he met the love of his life, Alice. Together they lived in Michigan, Minnesota and Arizona. Wayne had a love for life. He had a huge smile that lit up any room and could always be heard singing.

He sung in the shower, choirs and barbershop quartets since high school in Michigan. Served his country in the Korean War. His priorities were family, friends, Minne- sota sports, and church. He was an avid sports fan, a season ticket holder for the North Stars hockey team and the Minnesota Twins. He loved to bowl, golf and looked forward to his weekly golf outings with family and friends.

His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the focus of his life. The memories of the numerous trips and family get togethers will be treasured by all. He was a kid at heart and could always be found wherever the center of the fun was. He had macular degeneration and congestive heart failure in his later years but he would not let it interfere with his love of life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the American Heart Association.

Gough TEMPE Johnnie Mae McKibben died February 21, 2019 in Tempe, AZ at the age of 100. Born to John and Loretta Beloat in Phoenix, Johnnie grew up on her his- toric ranch and farm near Liberty, Arizona.

She graduated from Buck- eye Union High School in 1936 and enrolled in Arizona State Teachers College at Tempe, now ASU. After her Freshman year, she transferred to the University of Arizona and graduated in 1940 with a degree in Office Management. In 1941 she married Harry Burger, and together they had four children, all of whom survived her: Robert Burger of Mesa, John Burger of Tempe, Gary Burger of Pinetop, and Barbara Burger Doss of Chandler, AZ. Her three siblings, Alberta Bales, Kenneth Beloat, and James Beloat, all pre-deceased her, as did her husband Frank McKibben. She leaves nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Although raising a family was princi- pal occupation, she held various business related jobs before becoming the executive secretary to the Principal of Tempe High School and later the secretary to the Superintendent of the TUHS District. Johnnie Mae lived in Tempe since 1951 and spent her retirement years there and as a resident of Friendship Village for the last 17 years. A memorial celebration of her life will be held at the Friendship Village Healthcare Center on March 16 at 2:00 pm. Johnnie Mae Mckibben Ena Padilla, 84, passed away on Feb 26, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband Simon, her son Michael and her granddaughter Whitney.

She is survived by her brother Jesus Chaparro, her children Josie, Gilbert, David (Lucero), Richard (Deb- bie), Robert, Simona (David), Terri, Mario (Lina), Cynthia (Alex), 29 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren. Our Mom was raised in McNary. Az where she met the love of her life Simon Padilla they were married for 64 yrs. before he passed in 2015. She was the quiet strength that kept the family together and everything running smoothly during those 64yrs.

Her faith in God was unwavering and her love for her children and grandchildren cannot be mea- sured. We were Blessed beyond words to have her as our Mother. Mom we love you so much, and we will miss you greatly -until we meet again. Visitation will be Sat. March 9th at with Mass at 10am at St Matthews Church- 320 20th Dr.

Phoenix. Ena Padilla FOUNTAIN HILLS Clifford H. Johnson, 93, of Fountain Hills, AZ, passed away on Febru- ary 19th, 2019. Cliff was born on March 31st, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN but lived most of his youth in Barron, WI until he en- listed in the Navy in 1943. He attained the rank of Lieutenant.

After the war, he attended the University of Wisconsin at Madison, where he graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree. Professionally, Cliff worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company for 37 years in many loca- tions before settling in Fountain Hills, AZ after retirement. Cliff was proud to become a Mason and a Shri- ner. He was a volunteer in many community activities which included the Boy Scouts, VFW, and Meals on Wheels, American Red Cross and Fountain Hills Club among many others. Cliff was also involved in Kiwanis becoming Lieu- tenant Governor of the Southwest Region.

He was a member of Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church. Cliff enjoyed golfing, working out, going to the dog park with his dog, Ruff, spending time with his family and friends, and all his volunteer activities. He spent the last five years of his life living at Belmont Village in Scottsdale, AZ. We are grateful for the love and care he received while living there. Cliff is survived by daughter; Mary Eymann of Papillion, NE, daughter; Pam Ehrlich (Steve) of Fountain Hills, AZ, son; Cliff Jr.

(Pam) of Mesa, AZ, seven grandchildren; Brandon Eymann (Kim) of Papillion, NE, Allyson Eymann of Papillion, NE, Dustin Ehrlich (Andrea) of Pasadena, CA, Brian Ehrlich, of Scottsdale, AZ, Amiee Pastore, Tyler (Keli) Johnson, Hayleigh Johnson, all of Mesa, AZ, 6 great grandchildren; Cameron, Ella, Reese, Connor, Carleigh and Nash. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Rose and one brother. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church, 13001 Fountain Hills Blvd. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 9808 95th Street, Scottsdale AZ 85258 or Alz- Association.

Clifford H. Johnson PAYSON Edward Miller passed away peacefully, at age 77, on February 22, 2019. Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 15, 1941 he would move to Arizona with his family a decade later. Ed was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and wonder- ful friend to so many. He was a loving family man who was kind, goofy, and had the funniest belly laugh.

He is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 58 years, daughters Kelly Bittner (Mark), Kristy and son Steve (CJ). Grandchildren Matthew, Meghan and Katie Bit- tner, Zach Miller (Kaitie), Kelly Crow (Johnny), and Cassie Miller. Great-granddaughters, Natalie Miller and Lilly Crow. And brother David Miller (Mary). Ed was an avid hunter and fisherman, as well as a master craftsman and woodworker.

He prided himself on the three homes he built for his family over the years. Ed retired from Sundt Construction Inc. after a 30 year career in 2006. He was the winner of the ASA Single Award for Commercial Construction in 1988 and the Su- perintendent of the Year Award from Sundt Con- struction Inc. in 2003.

Ed will be missed by a large group of friends who knew him in the mountain community of Arizona, as well as friends in the Phoenix area. Donations can be made in his name to the charity of your choice. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring in the community area. Edward Miller PHOENIX Lubomyr (Lee) Oleksyn passed away peacefully Febru- ary 1, 2019, after his bat- tle with glioblastoma. In 1951, he was the first of his siblings to be born in the U.S., after his parents and sisters emigrated from Ukraine, settling in Rochester, New York.

He graduated from Edison Tech, and when his family moved to Phoenix, worked with them at the Odessa Restaurant and Lounge on the Black Canyon Freeway and Deer Valley for 20 years. For the last 10 years Lee was the food and beverage director of the Five Star Senior Living Facility in Borne, Tx. He had a big personality, always ready to share a joke, with a belly laugh that filled the room and love for his family beyond measure. It was an honor to call him son, father, brother, uncle and a true friend that helped anyone in need. We will miss him beyond words.

Preceded in death by his father Teodozyj (Teddy) Oleksyn. He is survived by his mother Stefania, sisters Nadia, Vera (husband Ed Hoerner) Brothers Stepan (wife Pamela), Andrew (wife Heather), Daughter Teresa (husband Nick McCully), Son Gregory, Nephews, Paul Wirlo, Steven Taft, Alexander Oleksyn, Niece Vera Weeks, Grandsons Ethan McCully and Gavin McCully. A celebration of life will be held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center, March 9th from 2 to 5, at 735 W. Elm Street. In lieu of flowers, memorial con- tributions may be made to St.

Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1102 N. 10th Phoenix, AZ 85006 Vichnaya pamyat. Lubomyr (Lee) Oleksyn GLENDALE Benjamin M. Pena, age 82 of Glendale, AZ, passed away on February 19, 2019. Ben was born to En- rique, Sr.

and Andrea on April 29, 1936 in Victoria, TX. He was one of seven siblings, two brothers and four sisters. He moved to Arizona in 1950. He was honorably discharged from the Army on June 30, 1963. Ben began his diesel mechanic career in 1963 and worked in California and throughout Arizona.

He started his own diesel mechanic business in 1998. After retiring from the mechanic business, he drove a bus and retired again from Maricopa County. unforgettable memory will continue to be cherished by his loving wife, Julia Pena, and seven daughters, Christina Purdy (Dane), Patricia Soto (Alex), Lisa Enas (Adrian), Janelle Ruiz (Ted), Suzzanna Pena Rodriguez (Juan) and Frances Pena Lugo (Mario). He will always be remembered and loved by his 25 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren. Ben is preceded in death by his parents, and his daughter, Janelle Ruiz.

After retirement, Ben loved spending quality time with his grandkids, especially during the summer. He and his wife loved taking mini vaca- tions with grandkids. In his last years, Ben loved the companionship of his beloved dog, Rocko. A private celebration of life will be held on March 8th, 2019. Benajmin Martinez Pena TEMPE Charles M.

Park, 88, of Tempe, Ar- izona, passed away on February 23, 2019. He was born in 1931 to Oswald and De- lia Park in Paducah, Ken- tucky, where he attended Paducah Tilghman High School. He married Mary Edith Park, the love of his life, in 1951 just before he entered the U.S. Navy, where he served as Quartermaster-Signalman on the U.S.S. Huse.

In 1953 their son Charles Lee Park was born, and in 1956, after this honorable discharge, Charles and his family moved to Phoe- nix. He owned and managed an automotive repair business until retirement in 1996. Charles was an avid follower of basketball, baseball and football and enjoyed fishing and other outdoor activities. His family and friends were his greatest joy. He is survived by his son, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will take place at on Sunday, March 10, at Lake- shore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Mesa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations to the American Kidney Fund or Arthritis National Research Foundation. Charles M.
