firm of Shults and Shults carried every precinct in his bid for the Unicoi County Sessions Court judge seat Shults who received a total vote of 3360k beat incumbent Sessions Court Judge RO Smith Jr hy 1701 votes Shults was a last-minute opponent of Smith and took out papers to run in Tuesdays election on the last day for qualifying Unicoi County Clerk Nancy Hilemon also lost her bid for re-election
