J 1 , I i - .. : : " "V A jl ' State marker HCNflogtr Eftow The Granbury First United Methodist Church unveiled a state congregational historical marker Sunday, recognizing 124 years of existence. The church was organized in 1871 with seven members. Today it has 1,500. Right, church historian Tommye Hiler and M.L. Godwin, a member since 1938, uncovered the marker before an appreciative crowd that included state Rep. John Cook, the speaker for the event ,1 -V Vitli-; 2. - I Robert W. Hawkins Jr. Robert W. Hawkins Jr. has been specially identified for early promotion to senior airman in the U.S. Air Force. Nichols of Acton, recently completed the Telephone Switchboard Repair Course at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center inTwentynine Palms, Calif. Fredrick Santiago Army Specialist Fredrick Santiago is deployed to Port-au-Prince, Haiti for peacekeeping. He is two months through the six month deployment A 1 990 graduate of Granbury High School, Santiago is the son of Joyce Santiago of Granbury and Fredrick Santiago of Gulfport, Miss. Upon return in July 1995 he will return to Fort Polk, La. with his wife Cassandra and son Kyler.
