Chris Fowler KILGORE Graveside services for Chris Fowler, 15, Kilgore, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Lafayette Cemetery, Camp County, with the Rev.

Gary Miller officiating under direction of Erman Smith Funeral Home, Pittsburg. Mr. Fowler died May 28 in a Tyler hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1982, in Mount Pleasant.

He lived in Pittsburg most of his life, moving to Kilgore three years ago. He was a student at Gladewater High School where he was a linebacker for the Gladewater Bears and also ran track. He worked part-time at Lone Star Speed Way, and was a member of Joy Mount Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Karen Fowler, Kilgore; father, Ronnie Coleman, Kilgore; grandparents, Robert and Myrna Reese, Pittsburg, Raymond and Rosa Mynar, Tomball; sister, Mellissa Fowler, Kilgore; and two aunts. Classmates will serve as pallbearers.

Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m Friday at the funeral home. and Curtis Walker, both of Dallas; sisters, Helen Garner, Tyler, Ethel Jackson, Hutchinson, and JoAnn Bendow, Dallas; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers include Brad Edwards, Vernal March, Samuel Kennedy, Charles Mcloud, Reginald March and Bobby Milton. Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m.

Friday at the funeral home. Nettie Fluellen Services for Nettie B. Fluellen, 84, Tyler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev.

D.C. Brown officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery under direction of Com-, munity Funeral Home, Tyler. Mrs. Fluellen died May 28 at her residence.

She was born March 14, 1913, in Henderson to the late John and Carrie Morris. She attended school in Antioch community near Henderson. She lived in Tyler for 59 years and was a housewife and member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Fluellen.

Survivors include sons, Lewis Charles Fluellen Tyler, and Jimmy Paige Fluellen, Garland; brother, Phillip Morris, Los Angeles, sisters, Beatrice Stevenson, Tyler, Jessie Mae McDaniels, Jacksonville, and Annie Ruth Fletcher, Henderson; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Deacons of St. James Missionary Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at 2027 S.

Shaw Tyler. Services for Mary Amie, 53, Tyler, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Ernest S. Sterling Memorial Chapel of Sterling Funeral Directors, Tyler, with Elder Wade Wilks officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ms. Amie died May 24 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1944, in Wilmer. She attended Pierce High School in Dallas, and lived in Tyler for eight years. AMIE She worked for Flowers Bakery and was a Baptist.

Survivors include son, Donnie Miller, Tyler; brothers, Alvin Walker Olga Newton Services for Olga Newton, 87, Tyler, are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with Dr. Ronald J. Brady officiating. Burial will be in Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery.

Mrs. Newton died May 28 in a Tyler nursing home. She was born June 14, 1909, in San Antonio, and lived in Tyler since 1945. She retired as head of the delinquent department of Smith County Tax Office in 1972, was a housewife and a member of Olivet Sunday School Class at Fifth Street Presbyterian Church. Survivors include stepdaughter, Gayle San Miguel, Arcadia, Calif; two grandchildren; and one nephew.

Mrs. Robertson died May 27. She was born Nov. 2, 1960, in Kilgore, and attended Big Sandy schools. She lived in the Big Sandy area most of her life, and worked at Dairy Queen of Gladewater.

Mrs. Gholson died May 28. She was born Oct. 25, 1919, in Woden to the late L.E. and Lavan-sha Purvis Cook.

She was self-employed as a maid. Mrs. Gholson was preceded in death by a son, Gordon S. Lan-drum. Survivors include son, Johnny B.

Landrum, Porter; daughter, Martha Sue West, Panama City, brothers, Elvin Lee Cook, Nacogdoches, and Willard E. Cook, Centerville; sisters, Myrtle Christian, Nacogdoches, Juanita Thomas and Bessie V. CANTON Services for Billy Estes Rawson 71, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Canton Church of Christ with Tom Moore, Bill Rasco and Leon Sharp officiating. Burial was in Haven of Memories Memorial Park under direction of Eubank Funeral Home, Canton. Mr. Rawson died May 27 in Canton.

He was born Nov. 9, 1925, in Blooming Grove to the late Thomas Henry and Sarah Elandor Ingram Rawson. He was construction superintendent of iron workers, building nuclear power plants. He retired to Canton in 1978 and was a cattleman and hay baler. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Ethel Gilchrist Raw-son, Canton; son, Bill Rawson, Ben Wheeler; daughters, Jean Douthit, Shirley Doughit and Mary Thorn- ton, all of Canton; brother, Tommy Lee Rawson, Brownsboro; sisters, Martha Chapman, lone, and Paul Favor, Brownsboro; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchil-" dren.

David Hartwig officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Memorial Park. Mrs. McCain died May 29 in Lufkin. She was born July 24, 1905, in Angelina County, and lived in Houston and Angelina County most of her life.

She was a retired licensed vocational nurse, a member of Golden Acres Methodist Church of Pasadena, and the last charter member of Clawson Baptist Church. Survivors include son, Doyle Fenley, Clawson; sister, Velda Wyatt, Port Arthur; brother; Louie E. Fenley, Noble, two granddaughters; three great-grandsons; and two great-great-grandchildren. 23, 1913, in Houston County. He lived most of his life in Alto and Weches, moving to Newton a short time ago. He Berved in the Army during World War II, retired from Texas Parks Wildlife Service, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Alto. Survivors include one brother-in-law and four sisters-in-law, including Helen Harrell, Neder-land. Pallbearers include Rayford Reed, Richard Johnson and deacons of First Baptist Church, Alto.

Guthrie HENDERSON Memorial services for Willis Arvil Guthrie, 79, Alameda, relative of Hender son residents, are scheduled for 4 p.nv Saturday at Emmanuel Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Simpson and Randy Sceroler officiating under direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home, Henderson. Mr.

Guthrie died May 25 in Alameda, Calif, He was born June 30, 1917, in Kingston, to the late Ellis and Gertrude Lummus Guthrie. He served in the Army, retired from Henry J. Kaiser Sand and Gravel of Oakland, after 35 years service, and was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Sue Guthrie, Alameda, daughter, Mary Weatherford, Henderson; sister, Latha Vansickle, Henderson; three granddaughters; four greatgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; and one niece. 6, 1980, in Tyler and lived in Ben Brady Services for Mr. Brady B. Craze, age 76, of Lindale, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday in Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Raymond Burroughs and the Rev.

Richard White officiating. Burial will be in the Harris Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Craze died Thursday in a Tyler hospital. He was born Oct.

29, 1920, in Brady, Texas, and lived the majority of his life in the Lindale area. Mr. Craze was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Harris Chapel Methodist Church and the American Legion. He was retired from the Tyler Pipe Industries.

Doris L. Private graveside services for Doris L. Dimond, 70, of Tyler are scheduled for Friday, May 30, 1997, at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Wright officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home, Tyler. Mrs.

Dimond died May 28( 1997, in Tyler. She was born Aug. 26, 1926, in Fisher, La. She was vice president and treasurer of Jack o' Dia B. dren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Warren died May 27 at his residence. He was born May 11, 1924, in Smith County to Eugene and Leberta Perry Florence, and was a lifelong resident. He served in the Army during World War II and retired as a truck driver for Joe R. May Pipe and Supply Co. He was a member of New Home Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leberta Florence, and sister, Johnnie M. Goodacre. Survivors include his wife, Lena Mae King Florence, Overton; sons, Warren E. Florence, Arp, Wilbert E. Florence, Orange, Herman T.

Florence, Virginia Beach, and Curtis M. Florence, Overton; daughter, Charlene Florence Henry, Overton; father, the Rev. Eugene Florence, Fort Worth; sisters, Hazel Brown, Fort Worth, and Emma J. Clinkenbeard Sr. SEVEN POINTS Memorial services for David Everet Clinken- beard 64, Seven Points, will be held at a later date under direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home, Seven Points. Mr. Clinkenbeard died May 28 in a Temple hospital. He was born Oct.

8, 1932, in Kansas City, to the late Charles and Lura Willis Clinkenbeard. He served in the Army and moved to the Seven Points area in 1994. He' was a member pf Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Anna Oldham Clinkenbeard, Seven Points; sons, David E. Clinkenbeard Brenham, and William J.

Clinkenbeard, Kansas City, daughters, Dianna R. 26, 1915, in Fouke, Ark. He moved to New London in 1945, and to Henderson 12 years ago. He served as a Seabee in the Navy, was an instrument technician for Exxon and a member of New London Methodist Church where he served on the board. Survivors include his wife, Sue Hensley, Henderson; son, Terry Hensley, Roseburg, daughter, Cindy Madden, Grapevine; sisters, Ruth Kemp, Texarkana, Ena Hilburi and Murle Purifoy, both of Fouke, and four grandchil- dren. Pallbearers include Pierce Purifoy, Mark Purifoy, E.H.

Thedford died May 28 in a Chandler nursing home. She was born Sept. 18, 1909. She moved from Tyler to Chandler four years ago, was a homemaker and a member of Martin Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rube Thedford.

Survivors, include brothers, Allen W. Owen, Tyler, W.F. Owen, New London, Ben Owen, Post, and Gene Owen, Red Bluff, and sister, Sophie Lee Cotton, Hinkley, Calif Pallbearers include Jerry Farley, Robert Stinecipher, Odis Parmer, Otis Cotton, Forest Thompson and Leo Spruill. Travis W. Rosson VAN Services for Travis Wayne Rosson, 36, Van, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hilliard Funeral Home chapel, Van, with Brother John Newsome officiating, Mr. Rosson died May 29 at his residence. He was born Nov, 11, 1960, in Beaumont.

He lived in the Van area since 1984 and was a farmer and member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include his mother, Valeria Marshall, Van; father and stepmother, Travis Leon and Ann Rosson, Winona; sisters, Kathy Hill, Rockwall, and Rhea Rosson, Dallas; stepsisters, Ronna Dane, Quitman, Lori Choate, Wills Point, and Donna Demby, Richardson; and several nieces and nephews. L. Young Wheeler all his life. He was a student at Van High School, and a member of Prairie Creek Church.

Margaret Craze of Lindale; two daughters and son-in-law, Virginia Craze, Brenda Marie and Jim Sikes, all of Lindale; sister, Mrs. lima Reimer of Waller; two grandsons, Brent McGahey and James Sikes, both of Lindale; great-grandson, Logan McGahey of Lindale; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Arthur Earl Baldwin, J.B. Hicks, Daryl Crews, Chuck McClenny, J.W. Roberts and Rack Tindel.

Survivors include her husband, John W. Dimond III of Tyler; sons and daughters-in-law, the Rev. Dimond and Cameron Dimond of Longview; one uncle; and several cousins.

J. 'Shorty9 Basham POLLOK Services for J.C. "Shorty" Basham, 73, Pollok, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Gipson Funeral Home chapel, Lufkin, with Brother Harold Westbrook officiating. Burial will be in Walker Cemetery- Mr.

Basham died May 28 in a Lufkin hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1923, in Angelina County, and served in the Army during World War II. He retired as a crane operator for Lufkin Industries after 34 years service, was a Baptist, a member of Lufkin Masonic Lodge No. 669 and a 10-year member of Lufkin Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Survivors include his wife, Ber-nice "Susie" Basham, Pollok; daughters, Betty Smitherman and Junie Stephens, both of Pollok, Venita Knight, Hudson, and Rachel Rogers; sister, Barbara Gresham, Pollok; brother, J.E. Basham, Pollok; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers include James McDougald, Joseph Stephens, Randall Stephens, Aaron Knight, Joe "Woody" Evans, Jim Hope, Larry Davis and Garland Bates. Chester E. Watts HENDERSON Services for Chester E.

Watts, 75, Henderson, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Bryan Funeral Home chapel, Henderson, with the Rev. Bill Hitt officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery. Mr.

Watts died May 27 in a Tyler hospital. He was born Aug. 18, 1921, in Minden. He was a lifelong resident of Rusk County and served in the Army Air Corps during World War II in North Africa. He retired from the Texas Forestry Service after 24 years and was a Baptist.

Survivors include daughter, Carmell Whitehead, Houston; son, Eddie Watts, Henderson; sister, Sudie Goodwin, Henderson; three grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. Pallbearers include Bill Burks, Jim Young, Arthur Gage, J.T. Cribbs, Russell Burd and Ronnie Ray. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
