Ken Hyder gave the report For 1968 there wer receipts of $960500 plus a $55986 holdover from 1967 $1016486 and the disbursements amounted to $978150 leaving a balance of $38336 Not only was the required $5000 sent to League President Chauncey office but $1000 due from the 1967 season was paid the report reveals THE BASEBALL CLUB will participate in the Centennial celebration in 1969 with a Centennial Game scheduled Strouse executive director of the Johnson City Chamber of Commerce attended the meeting and said the Chamber would work with the baseball club on the Centennial Game A1 is hard to pick The best i football players are hard to pick but I think Beattie Feath- ers at fullback Hickman and McEver at halfback Dodd at and linemen McCord Atkins son (now with Cincinnati) Beard and ends Hugg and Fritz Brandt were all good on defense Hugg and Fritz Brandt could get down fastest ot any under a punt or kickoff and play sixty minutes i'i had my picture taken two years on the
