Boren Abstract Co. Inc. a member of the Texas Land Title Association convention committee. The company was recently recog-nized by the Tyler Chamber of Commerce during Small Business Week. Boren Abstract, which has eight employees, is open from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Broadcasters Unlimited, was incorporated in 1982 and the following year purchased Radio Station KNUE, establishing the station's country music format that has proven so popular in East Texas. Under the leadership of Don Chaney, President and CEO, BUI has grown through the years as it acquired KKYR in Texarkana and KCKR in Waco.

In 1990 the company leased Radio Station KISX which is now familiarly known as MIX 107.3, a station featuring hits of the 70's, 80's and90'. The tradition established by KNUE 101.5 and MIX 107.3 in Tyler and throughout the trade area has proven to be successful for both listeners and advertisers alike as evidenced by Arbitron radio surveys year after year. The combination of KNUE and MIX is an unbeatable blend of listeners, both in numbers, ages, male and female for businesses who want to market to today's consumer.
