This thoroughfare, it is understood, will be the next one to be improved out of the county's good road fund, which is derived from automobile and motorcycle licenses and tags under the new state law. Kiddoo Says program of fairness is to be carried out unless the county seat gang of politicians bulldoze the commissioners into changing their minds and building the second county road out of Independence before recognizing the rights of the southwest portion of the county. The board, however, seems inclined to do the square thing in the matter despite the selfish demands being made by Independence gangsters. The three county commissioners were elected to serve the county at large rather than any particular part thereof, and there is every reason to believe they will faithfully perform that duty if let alone by the wTould-be political bosses in the county seat town.
