Beasley Motor Rehuildcrs, the only official authorized plant for the rebuilding of Ford and Mercury automobile engines, is located at 210 Fast Plank road in the heart of the Plank road industrial and shopping district. The company lias been reconditioning and romanufactuiinsj engines for Ford and Mercury cars for the pa.st eight years which time more than 30,000 engines have passed through th plant. In the fall of 1951. because of the tremendous volume of business, the company found it necessary to expand it operations into allied rebuilding fields and is now reconditioning the complete line of Ford and Mercury distributors, carburetors. fuel pumps, generators, starters and brake shoe.

In order to take care of the volume of work at this plant it is necessary to employ a staff of 50 persons. Six delivery trucks are utilized each week in order to service the 235 Ford and Mercury dealers in the Pittsburgh district branch.
