The measure, which is about SI.36 billion more than a spending plan earlier approved by the House, heads to the full Senate for consideration. After action by senators, the House and Senate proposals are expected to head to a.conference committee made up of members from both chambers to work out differences in the measures.

Thomas Detbert Dees Thomas Deibert "T.D." Dees Thomas Deibert Dees, 81, of Powderly died at 5:10 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 1999, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center following a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 20, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with David Ballard and Nolan Butler officiating. Burial will be in Huffines Cemetery at Atlanta, Texas, at 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Dees was born May 19, 1971, in Atlanta to Drue and Sally Kendrick Dees.

He attended schools in Huffines community and Atlanta and served in the Army Tanks Corps during World War II. He married Maxine Brumfield May 19, 1947, in Gulfport, Miss. Mr. Dees worked for many years in the oil industry, drilling mostly offshore in Louisiana and South America and inland in Texas. After retiring, from the oil industry in the late 1950s, he became chief maintenance engineer for several industries in the.

Mount Pleasant and Paris areas. He was a member of the Powderly Church of God. Surviving are his wife, Maxine; two sons, Ray and Johnny Dees, both of Powderly; a daughter, Carolyn Holland of Quitman, six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Asked to serve as honorary pallbearers are Wayne Neal, Dr. Ed Schaeffer, David McFadden, Gary Foil, Floyd Kirkland, and Drue Dees.

Owen M. Delozier HUGO, Okla. Owen M. Delozier, 85, of Hugo died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m.

Wednesday, April 21, at Prater- Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mutt Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Surviving are sons, Jerry Delozier of Mesquite and Deibert Delozier of Sachse, Texas; a daughter, Linda Holland of Rowlett; a sister, Lois Lawson of Colorado Springs, 16 grandchildren and several great and great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth Elaine Andrews CLARKSVILLE Ruth Elaine Anderson, 69, of Clarksville died Saturday, April 17, 1999, in Texarkana. She was a retired dress shop owner. 5, 1902, in Lamar County to Edward and Abbie Hill McElyea. She was a member of Oak Park United Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, James Harold Miller of Heath "and Phillip Miller of Luxenburg, N.C.; two brothers, Chester McElyea of Paris and Grady McElyea of Como; a sister, Christine Burns of Fort Worth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jefferson Lloyd Miller, Jan. 19, 1964.

Janie Reeves Bennett Janie Reeves Bennett Janie Reeves Beimel, 84, died April 18, 1999, in Rockwall. Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Appleby officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Bennett was born Sept. 14, 1914, in Red Riveir County to Ed and Ana Reeves. She worked with her husband at Bennett's Cleaners on Pine Bluff from 1948 until 1977.

She was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving are two sisters, Sybil Taylor and Ann Forsythe of Rockwall; a brother, Joe Clark of Paris; a granddaughter, Carlene Blessing of Rockwall; a son-in-law, C.J. Cooper of Rockwall; a great-grandson, Russell Bennett Blessing of Rockwall; and many nieces, nephews and friends, all of whom she loved very much. Don Vavonese HUGO, Okla. Don Vavonese, 69, of Hugo died Sunday, April 18, 1999, at his home.
