AMBULANCE SERVICE THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 1950 Leah Tanking And Clyde Osman United In Marriage First Congregational church was the scene of a pretty wedding Saturday at 8 p.m. when Miss Leah Mary Tanking, daughter of Mr. Mrs. Henry T. Tanking, 610 Geneva street, became the bride, of Clyde P.

Osman, son Mr. Highland and Mrs. Carl Williams Osman, Til street, Bay. The altar was banked with bouquets of white gladioli. Rev.

Curtis Schowalter performed the double ring ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a white satin gown with. a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and a full skirt which ended in a train. The French illusion veil had a lace over satin crown with pearl orange blossoms. Her bouquet was white orchid surrounded with white roses.

Attending her sister as maid of honor was Etta Tanking, Milwaukee. She wore an American beauty taffeta gown with boutfout skirt with a bustle, Maadaria neckline and cap sleeves. She carried a bouquet of beauty roses with white button mums and wore a tiara of white button mums. The Bridesmaids Bridesmaids were Alva Tanking and 1 Judith Tanking, sisters of the bride. Their gowns were designed after the maid of honors with Alva's being aqua and Judy's pale orchid.

Marvin Gramley, Chicago, was man and ushers were Robert and Floyd Osman, Williams Bay. Mrs. Clark Cobb was organist and Mrs. Gloria Bearce, soloist, sang "I Love You Truly" and "The Lord's Prayer." The bride's mother wore a black faille suit with pink accessories and the bridegroom's mother was attired in a teal blue crepe dress with black accessories. They both wore corsages of pink roses.

A wedding reception for 200 guests was held in Horticultural hall immediately following the ceremony. A three tiered. wedding cake was the centerpiece of the bridal table. Miss Josephine Danca and Miss June Osman poured. Several board members of the Woman's Committee of the decorated the tables and served at the reception.

Mrs. Willaim P. Finney gave white gladioli and assisted in decorating. Open house is being held at the bride's home several days to display gifts. After a short wedding trip to Lake Kentuck, the young couple will be at home at Williams Bay after Sept.

11. The bride is a graduate of the Lake Geneva high school and attended the University of Wisconsin for one year. She has been employed at the office of C. H. Van Slyck.
