Oathout, 69, of 1216 5th Watervliet, a retired employe of the former U.S. Array Depot in Schenectady, died suddenly Sunday at Samaritan Hospital, Troy, after being stricken Saturday in Latham. He had been under Ihe care of a physician. Mr. Oathout was born in Watervliet where he received his education.

He had resided here most of his life. A veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in China, Burma and India. He was a member of John Patlon Post, American Legion, a i Watervliel. He had been employed at Ihe a depot a a firefighter for over 27 years prior to his retirement seven years ago.

For the past five years he had worked as a school crossing guard at'the Sacred Heart of Mary School in Watervliet. Surviving is his wife, the former Bertha King. The cause of his death was not known. Renowned as an outstanding singing aclor, Treigle said he preferred roles which were balanced in voice and drama. a i portrayals of the title role in Boito's Mephistopheles in "Faust" and the multi-part villain in a a Hoffman." Dingley, '81, formerly of Waterford, died suddenly Sunday at St.

Mary's Hospital. Mr. Dingley was born in Cohoes. He resided In Water. ford most of his life where he operated a used car business and a tavern for many years.

He had been married to the late Amy Ashplanl Dingley. Survivors include one son, Claude T. Dingley of Green two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Kennedy of Mrs. Veronica Baily of one brother, Horace Dingley of Cohoes; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the G. J. Daigneault Funeral Home, 168 Mohawk Cohoes, and at 9:30 a.m. from St.

Emily Lewsey Klaer, 60, Fort Lauderdale, who had lived In the Hoosick Falls and Salem areas most of her life, died suddenly Saturday in Fort Lauderdale. She had been under the care of a physician. She was widow of Charles Klaer. Mrs. Klaer is survived by her father, Harry Lewsey of Salem; two sons, Charles Klaer Jr.

of Fort Lauderdale, and William Klaer of Buskirk; a 'daughter, Mrs. Clarence Roberge of a two sisters, Mrs. Edith Hosner of a a Ewashkn of Colonie, and nine grandchildren. Funeral seiviees, al the convenience Of the family, will be conducted from the Charles F. White Funeral Home, Valley Falls.
