A Ragged Navy Team Sinks Penn State 28 To Amazed At Lack Of Tennis Courts Sailo rs Never Look Like Title Outfit By ED HARRIS Knoxville is overlooking part of its program to combat juvenile delinquency by its failure to provide more adequate tennis facilities That is the opinion of a man w'ho should know a man who today holds the National Professional tennis championship Webley Van Horn who holds the national title alter sweeping aside all of today's tennis greats including Bill Tilden yesterday expressed his amazement at failure to provide more facilities for the court game You might say Van Horn is prejudice He is But he also knows what tennis has done for himself and thousands of other youngsters in California where he learned to master the strokes that carried him to the pinnacle The well built likable champion opines that a youngster something to do and he will develop into a good and adds that tennis is a proper method Van tall and muscular frame gives credence to his reminder had a choice between football baseball and tennis 1 played them all at one time I decided on tennis because it is a game that you can play for years Football and baseball are gone isually at the close of college days in tennis you can play on down -the Tennis is a game that demands great self control and there is where the fight against juvenile delinquency comes in A youngster who learns to
