WEDNESDAY EVENING, SEPTEMBER 2, 7970 27 Latham Colonie Gloversville Man Named Recreation Center Director Assemblyman Fred Fielt who is also president of Col onie Youth Recreation Centers parent organization of Stu aent Committee on Recreation (SCOR) has announced appoint merit of a Gloversville man to Ihe newly created post of center director. He is Victor S. Sgambato Sr. 48, who in 1945 was selected by the U.S.

Army to attend Washington Lee University in Virginia for advanced training In recreation and athletics. Mr. Sgambato has been active In organizing and running recreational programs and facilities since 1939 after having been educated in Gloversville schools tnd Gloversville business school, From 1939-44 he was YMCA director and teacher, in Gloversville. Town of Colonie health following an inspection of the Frank Miazga pig farm on Albany-Shaker Road on Tuesday ruled that the farm is in violation of town and state Specifically Dr. McCullough ruled that a 1951 town ordinance is being violated. This ordinance stipulates that pig farmers clean ilt and otherwise care for feeding platforms, provide leaching fields, and obtain a permit from the town to operate such a type farm. The town health official also said he found that the farm also violates a recently passed stale law which requires pig farmers to cook all garbage fed to pigs. Miazga who with his brother John operate the farm, said he would continue to operate the pig farm even though it would have to cost him a considerable sum of money to meet town and ftate health law requirements.
