Southeastern Conference Tigers kicked little Howard Bulldogs around for three quarters tonight but the 24-member Birmingham squad staved off a shutout with two touchdowns in the closing period The brilliant and exciting high school football games witnessed here in years Knoxville trailing 13-7 pushed its points in the fourth quarter after a Tennessee High fumble had given them possession of the ball on the 30 as the third period ended Drives by Vann and a five-yard offside penalty against Tennessee gave the Trojans a first down on the 3 and Vann took the ball across He also kicked the point Allen carried the ball 10 times before he was removed from the game at the half Battering Cliff Kimsey 185-pound junior fullback from Cornelia Ga was the workhorse of the Georgia backfield Angelo Farrar and Charles Mon-seur starred on the Oglethorpe offensive but were unable to shake loose for any gains Georgia scored early in the first quarter Kimsey went over from the Oglethorpe 8 Costa
