Blethodist Church entertained all circles of the church in the the church Hearth Room on Jlonday evening. Speaker of the evening was Mrs. Bristol Chatterlon of Central Bridge, who has a Daughter, Sue Ellen' serving as a United Methodist Missionary, in Korea. Mrs.

Chat tertori spoke and showed slides of some of her daughters work and experiences as a teacher in the Methodist Missjon School Following the talk Mrs. Chat terton had on display a table filled "with many articles taught to the children. the ar tides were pieces finest em broidery mounted on rice paper, and many other things taught the children, 1 so that when they leave the school they can go out and provide their own living. Many such workers are needed in these schools in Korea according to 'Mrs. Chatterton who are willing to give a few years of their time to help these poor children." During Sue Ellen's visit to America she was able to bring a few children who were to meet their foster parents for first time.

Following the meeting refreshments were served by Mrs. John Weaver and Mrs. Ward! Harris, heading the Bloodgood of the United -States Marines -who has been visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William' Bloodgood of Vische'r Ferry, has returned to his hase-ai Qliantico, Va.

Officers elected were Clarence Carpenter, president; Robert Eldredge, vice president; Mrs. Beatrice Wheeler, secretary, and Avery Hall, treasurer. Thomas Wheeler and Eldredge were elected as directors for two year terms. Guest of Honor Fred Hanlon of Stephentown was guest of honor at the Floyd Carlton Post celebration of the fiftieth anniversary of the American Legion. Hanlon is a 50-year member.

Both Mr. and Jlrs. Hanlon attended the banquet at Mario's New Lebanon. Fire Co. Meets Volunteer Fire Company will meet Tuesday at 8 at -the fire hall.
