ROYCE MYERS Mr. and Mrs. Lee Chamberlain drove to Topeka to visit Mrs. Chamberlain's brother, Preston Hale who had returned to his home from the Stormont Vale Hospital ind Mrs. Hale. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Deitrich and family of Prairie Village, were guests of Mrs. Deitrich's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Gene DeTar. Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Lytle, Roger, Allen and Beverly of Wichita, came Saturday to spend Mothers Day with Mr. Lytle's mother, Mrs. Jennie Lytle. Other guests Sunday were her children, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Wolfe, Rachel and Sara, Prairie Village, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gooch, Merriam, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Edward Lytle, Becky and Patty of Lathrop, Mo. Mrs. Ruth Hogan moved Sunday from the T. J. Bivins rental house of W 3rd to an apartment in Paola. Twenty - eight seniors of Wellsville High left Thursday night on a trip to the south. The 7-day tour includes visits at New Orleans and Pensacola, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Isenhower, sponsors accompanied the seniors in the chartered bus. J. P. Feighner, son of Mrs. Lee Chamberlain, has received the Beulah Morrison Award as an outstanding physiology student. J. P. ' is a Senior at University of Kan sas and will graduate in June. Wendell Hicks, director of the Wellsville Band took the student who have participated in band activities through out the year, to Swope Park in Kansas City, for a picnic and outing. Band Moth ers accompaning the group were Mrs. Gene Barnett, Mrs. Norman Shannon, Mrs. C. D. Christy and Mrs. R. A. Myers. Mr and Mrs John Collins have sold their residence property on South Main to Mr. and Mrs. J, W. Tomlinson and will give possession, June 15. The Tomlinson family consists of three children age 10, 7 and 5 and are from Kansas City. Mr. Tomlinson is employed at Bendix. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Caruthers moved last week from the Vernon McDaniel residence on W. 4th to the Bill Leib rental property at 6th and Walnut. Mr. and M r s Frankie Sloan have purchased the McDaniel property and are making plans to move to town soon from their farm southeast of Wellsville. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Haley and daughter, Sandra Lynne have moved to the Todd rental property on North Main. The Haley family moved here from Loveland with Shaffer & Kline, engineers at Overland Park. Mrs. Haley is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Garner who live on East Eighth. Relatives, friends and neighbors surprised Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy at the Todd home to help them celebrate their 25 wedding anniversary. Walter Collins, Glendalet Calif, came last week for a visit with his sister, Mrs. C. A. Smith, Mr. Smith and other relatives and friends. Dr. N. E.
