Freshman from Proviso East high school came back from Evanston with a 6th place for the 200 yard medley relay at the Suburban League Swimming Competions. OAK PARK 383-5200 Park District Wrestling Tournament Approximately 15 Forest Park boys between the ages of 8 and 14 Jill compete In the Suburban Recreation Athletic Conference Wrestling Tournament which will take place on Saturday, March 27th at 9:00 a.m. at Grant-White School. Three Park Districts, Memorial Park, Riverside and Forest Park will take part In this event. Parents and spectators are encouraged to attend. Womens Softball A Women's Softball League meeting will be held in the Park.District administration building on Tuesday, March 30th at 8:30 p.m. Any women, 17 years of age and over, interested in playing Softball should attend this meeting. Scheduling and rules will be discussed. Park District Hockey Tournament Results Forest Park took 2nd place in the 8, 9 and 10 year old age group, beating Memorial Park District of Bellwood in the first round. They drew a bye in the second round putting them in the finals against Veteran's Park. They played a real tough game but lost 4-2. In the 11, 12, 13 and 14 age group, Forest Park didn't fare too well. They lost to Memorial Park District 7-1. The boys on both teams are to be commended on their fine play and sportsmanship. The Forest Park players in. the two tournament divisions were: 8. 9 and 10 vr. olds. 11. 12. 13 and 14 yr. olds.
