Install control signs reading "No Thru Traffic" at the following location. Harlem Avenue alley, 800 block, in back of Tom's Hamburger Shop. 2. Install control signs reading "Stop" at the following locations- Northwest corner of Hannah at-fcehmer Avenue Northwest corner of Thoma/at Lehmer Avenue Northwest corner of Beloit LLahnrerAvauie Northwest corner of Ferdinandat Lehmer A\enue This is being recommeded in view of the factTBaTleveral cars have run into the barricade on Lehmer Avenue, the drivers apparently not aware that the street ends there. It is the considered opinion of this commission that a better solution to the problem lies in permanently staked standards with amber lights, but considering that it could take some time to Install them this commission feels that "Stop" signs will suffice for the time being. If, however, the Council can act soon on the placement of amber ejectric lights it is the opinion of the commission that they should be installed on the south side of Lehmer Avenue facing each of the above mentioned streets. A study and survey is being made presently to eliminate parking on the west side of Harlem from Harrison to 16th street. A large, red oversize lens will be installed soon on the control sign at Circle and Roosevelt Road, the scene of many accidents in the past. Respectfully submitted, Patricia Hemstreet, Secretary Bob Linker, Chairman - Traffic and Safety Commission . of Forest Park, Illinois c/c Herb Petersohn LEGAL Notice is hereby given that on April 19, 1971 at 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, 517 Desplalnes Avenue, Forest Park, Illinois the Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on a petition for variations in the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Forest Park permitting the construction of a 9-unit apartment building on the following described property: Lot 20 in Block G in the resubdivision of Carney's addition to Harlem in the Northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 39 North, Range 12, East of the Thin!
