I mmJ WBfc a LL jizfe IRISH PROVINCE Dft THOMAS ADDIS EMMET. on the decline and that in a day not far distant she will be a Province of Ireland. "No man in his time has been a greater admirer of John Redmond, of Dillon and of T. P. O'Connor than I have been.

I have not only supported them by pen and voice, but also substantially. And I have no personal grievance gainst any of them. "But lads Rre facts. Mr Redmond and his supporters have been swindled bv the British Government and, through them, the Irish people at home and abroad, "The reason? It is obvious to any dispassionate observer that all of these nifin I have named have been so cajoled by the British Government that they are now only part Irish; the remainder is wholly English. Truth About the Emmets.

"These convictions of mine make It clear, please have no relation to events now transpiring. They are based wholly upon personal study and observation. England must soon pay her debt to Nature. I forsee Mr Redmond and his intimates dying of broken hearts. "I am resting now, waiting, as oia men must, for the end.

There is not a gieat deal more for me to live for, un lrtfin it bp to correct uroofs. Mv brain keeps me alive. I am almost supremely, happy in this that I am leaving behind me Homethtnj; authentic for stuaents or mankind and institutions. "I believe that I have written the real history of Ireland's long struggle for freedom, and written it as a native American reviewer who has spent a lifetime in the accumulation of information on the subject. "I believe, too, that I have shown conclusively that Robert Emmet and his brother Thomas Addis limmet were intellects of the movement which resulted in the formation of the United Irishmen and the Fenian Brotherhood.

It has been England's glory to belittle Robert Emmet, to put him in the light of a tool of keener men, to make him out a romancer. "All this is exploded by the facts that I have been able to gather. I have presented facts to prove that while Thomas Addis Emmet once leaned to the opinion that separation from England would not be a prudent undertaking, he later became convinced and openly preached the doctrine of a complete and permanent separation from Ureat Britain as tne onlv salvation of the Irish race. "These are historical facts not heretofore made public. The proof is shown by many incidents, particularly bv public utterances of both Emmets, When Robert Emmet's epitaph is written, that of his brother, Thomas Addis Emmet, must be written, too."
