FOREST PARK REVIEW, WEDNESDAY; MARCH 17, 1971, PAGE 14 Senior Citizens Visit Circus Ty Mabel McDonald Most of Forest Park Senior Citi- zen.Club members went by bus to Mcdlnah Temple to see the circus. Kay Taylor was in charge, assisted by her daughter Marion, who has done many nice things for our club. Thank you Marion. Kay is planning another trip to Milwaukee in the near future. Home from the hospital: Clara Fields, Viola Hands, Helen Baumback, Emma Engle, Ethel Stange, Olga Stiler. Hospitalized: Irene O'Brien, Emma LeFefebre and Mary Quade. Mrs. Mathilda Petersohn is still in the Elmhurst Nursing Home. Deceased: Our sympathy to our Treasurer Theresa Van Thiel in °;he loss of her husband Henry who was laid to rest in Mount Auburn Cemetery and to Cola Barnes in the loss of her husband Eddie, our member who was taken ' to Macon, Missouri for burial. Schmidt, 439 Elgin Ave., a technical writer for GTE Automatic Electric, recently completed a special study course on the function, operation, testing and maintenance of Automatic Dial telephone equipment. The class, which included trainees from all parts of the United States,- was conducted at AE's training center In Northlake. Schmidt, a seven-year veteran in the electronics industry, has been a tech writer at Automatic since September of 1967. He is a graduate of Walther High School in Melrose Park and of DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago. He is married to the former Penelope Harper of Elmwood Park. Better skills build better careers.
