Davidson Saturday at 6:15 p.m. in a ceremony held in St. Peter the Apostle's Church in Houston. The Rev. James Wilson. CSB. officiated. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey D.Jones of Ponce, Puerto Rico, formerly Sweeny residents. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. Davidson of Houston, White Bladioli. chrysanthemums and greenery adorned the "altar forming the background for the ceremony. .For hei; wedding, the bride wore a formal gown of dresden white pure silk peau de sole fashioned : fa heirloom trailL tional style. Hand sewn Alencon lace encrusted with seed pearls formed the fitted bodice which featured a scalloped sweetheart neckline. The very bouffant skirt swept into a chapel length train. She carried a cascading bouquet of stephanotis centered •with white orchids. Miss Beverly Couch of Corpus Christi was thehonorattendant; Miss Sallie Taggart of Houston served as bridesmaid. They wore princess styled gowns of aqua satin sillrouetted with a .deep portrait collar. English ivy and pink' roses in cascading bouquets complemented their gowns. The groom's attendants were John Patrick Ogren and Carl Zimmer, both of Houston. Ushers were Thomas -Jones, brother of the bride, and Billy Mayfield. y Mrs. Jones chose for her daughter's wedding a gown of beige silk organza featuring a matching lace and jeweled neckline. She wore matching accessories and a pink rosebud corsage. The groom's mother was gowned in a blue lace dress worn over blue peau de sole, and she also wore matching 'accessories. Members of the house party for the reception were Mrs Reed Quinn, Mrs. Billy Mayfield, Miss Elaine Btough and Mrs. Sam R. Jones. The couple will travel to Colorado Springs. Colo, for their wedding trip. The bride wore a rose wool suit with brown accessories for travel and the orchid lifted from her wedding bouquet. The bride was graduated from Sweeny High School and Baylor University. The groom attended the University of Texas. The couple will make their home ta Houston.
