Pago 4 People Helping People Theme Of United Fund Drive l*agp 5 HAVING FUN — Girl Scouting is an important part of the Bay County United Fund, the annual campaign of which gets under way Thursday. These two photos show some of the fun the Girl Scouts have in their outings. HER LOVE — Helping tots like the one pictured here is just one of the functions of the United Fund. USO IS SOMEONE WHO CARES — For thousands of hospitalized servicemen, the war will never be over. USO remembers, and has made those men lingering in military and VA hospitals around the world an integral part of its basic constituency. PIGTAIL SOFTBALL — Girls softball pigtail division is one of the most popular sports at Tyndall AFB in the summer. CANOE SKILL — Canoe handling is demonstrated important unit in the United Fund campaign here, at a Red Cross canoeing class. The Red Cross is an HELPING AGING — Helping the aging to enjoy life is one of the things, the United Fund does best in Bay County. The campaign starts Thursday.
