Abercrombie Co., and Harrison Oil Co., plants at Sweeny and Freeport, are offered for sale or lease by the War Assets Corp., it has been announced. These plants Donsist of a refinery, two terminals, two tank farms and a pipe line system. The refinery and tank farms are 4 1/2 miles northwest of Ewecny; one terminal is on the San Bernard river about three miles northeast of Sweeny; and the other terminal is on the Ship Canal, about a mile southeast of Freeport. Operating units and their capacities are rh e crude topping unit, 22,000 barrels a day; termal reforming unit, 7,000 barrels a day; fluid catalytic cracking unit, 13,000 barrels of gas oil a day; gas concentration unit, capacity consistent wiih operations of other units; AHF alkylation unit, 4,000 barrels of depentanized alkylate a day; iso- merization unit, 1,500 barrels a day; acid treating plant, capacity consistent with operations of other units. Atmospheric storage tanks, 2,056,000 barrels; pressure storage tanks, 118,000 oarrels. The refinery and other facilities are located on seven parcels of land, a total of 503 acres. Total area of the buildings is about 73,000 square feet. There are 29 refinery type structures, generally of brick ahd tile or corrugated transite .walls, concrete or steel framing Over two miles of railroad sidings are on the site.
