Lormand has recently taken over the pastorate of the Jones Creek Assemb- 17 of God Church. > Bev. Lormand, with his wife, Anna Mae, and three daughters, Linda, age 11, Rente, nine, and Melanie, three-years-old, moved to Jones Creek from Houston. He was doing evangelistic worK'ibeiore coming to the Jones Creek church. Rev. Lormand is a graduate of Southwestern Bible Institute in Waxahachle. He has studied insurance at Southern Methodist University, in order to be able to euppltment his income while studying for the rninist- ery.'. '' Sine* the Lormands have oome to the church, a new parsonage hai almost been completed next'door to the church thlt it located on Highway 38 in Jones Creek. • A revival is now in progress at the church with Rev. Coleman McDuff of Texas City as the evangelist.
