The game was the fourteenth the teamg have played since 1895 and in 13 of 'them the soldiers were able to score but a total at' six points. It took them less than that many minutef this afternoon to better that total.

Soon after Captain 'Bud" Sprague, the Amy tackle, who last yehr was given a place on the Associated Press all-American team, kicked off, the Harvard leader, fumbled a direct pass from his center and the ball was recovered by Perry, Army lineman, on the Crimson's 14 yard line. The Harvard line held superbly, 1 but on the down, with 20 yards to go, Cagle completed a long rase to Nave, the Army quartertackl and Murrel, the fullback, bit the Crimson center for the touchdown. French fumbled another pass from the center a few minutes later but his linemen were able to prevent a score. His ithird miacue, late in the first period, gave the Army a safety.
